<--ari-->Bay Black<--color-->Drea has produced some of our favorite alpacas. She is bay black, almost true black. She is very dense and has well defined crimp that is consistent from skin to tip and front to rear. She has a beautiful shine to her fleece and finished product. These awesome crimp characteristics have been passed on to all of her crias. Drea's conformation is right on, and she has very nice bone. She has a beautiful head (and full top knot.) Drea is an easy breeder and has been wonderful when it comes to delivering her crias. She has a great deal of milk and is protective of her crias. Since we have owned her she has produced several ribbon winning crias. It's a challenge planning the color of the offspring, however. Drea has produced dark rose gray and dark brown when bred to fawn; classic light silver gray and modern dark silver gray when bred to classic gray; and medium fawn when bred to black!! <--description-->
