Vengador's Accoyo Tachon

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)Beige
AOA# 804976DOB: 10/7/1998
Tachon is a Full Accoyo who brings top genetics to your breeding program. His fleece offers uniform and well defined character, density, and deep crimp. The sample pictured is at 5 years of age and still displays these fine qualities. Tachon is the son of Accoyo Import Import Vengador. Vengador is the son of Shere Khan, Julio Barreda's most famous herd sire. He is the 1995 AOBA 1st Place Adult White Male Winner and has sired numerous Award winning offspring. At Age 11 Accoyo Vengador sold for over $102K at the Parade of Champions Sale! Tachon's Maternal brother - "Accoyo Michelangelo" recently sold for $89,000 at 11 months old!! He is owned by Likada Farm and Seldom Scene Farm. Tachon is a nice size boy with wonderful presence, big bone, and a great head. To top things off, he has three large brown/fawn spots on his side and black pigment around his eyes and mouth. The pairing of Accoyo Vengador (was owned by Greg Mecklem at Accoyo America) x Accoyo Ayaviri (owned by Greg's Brother) created Accoyo Tachon for Greg's brother. The match was perfect, but Greg's brother is all set with males, so we were fortunate enough to scoop up Tachon for our breeding program. Here is a great opportunity to add Accoyo bloodlines without sacrificing color. Tachon's first cria have hit the ground and we are VERY Excited. The fleece on these little ones is something to shout about. It is the tiny little zipper crimp and breaks into bundles even at just a week old. Now, to take that even further, we have a Medium Brown from a Black Dam, Dark Fawn from a Med Fawn Dam, a Light Brown from a Dark Brown Dam and a Medium ROSE GRAY from a Med Fawn Dam! The owners of the Rose Gray called to book a repeat breeding and stated, "she is the best cria to ever be born on their farm". As we thought, Tachon will push the color through while adding the wonderful Accoyo genetics, density, character and crimp. We are proud to own Tachon with The Heart of Michigan Alpacas and Double D Alpaca Farm.
