With parents AML Blackjack and Crescent Moon's Raya de Luna, and grand-sires 4P Legacy and 5P Black Ice, Glen Ridge Casi Cielo's lineage is impressive enough. Mix in grand-dams Crescent Moon's Silver Threads and two-time produce of dam winner Nasahuento's Poppy and she is a genetic powerhouse. Casi's fiber is very bright with a high-frequency and proportionally deep crimp that is consistent through her neck, belly, and legs - and a handle that is impossibly soft - rarely seen in animals of this color. We are quite pleased that she has maintained her fineness as she matured. All three of Casi's cria have been banner and blue ribbon winners. In her first breeding for grey she covered rose gray by Rainer's Axel Cloud, producing 3X blue ribbon winner Ice Pond Rambling Man. Casi sells with a breeding to 13X C/RC Spartans Silver lining.

Description

We tried (without much success) to contain our enthusiasm and keep in mind the thought that anything can happen with any breeding - but the depth of genetic potential behind this pairing kept us on the edge of our seats. Our five-time blue ribbon winner and Reserve Champion Glen Ridge Casi Cielo bred to Futurity Champion AML Legacy's Salud produced one of the densest cria fleeces we've seen. Parting the bundles of fibers, it was a real effort to find a skin line. In her limited show career, judges descriptions of her fleece were effusive: “...crazy fineness...best handle in class…luscious...extremely bright…luxurious...uniform well beyond her blanket...you seriously do not want to take your hands out of this fleece...”
