Kona is the essence of a Suri. At AWE in May 2005, Judge Ruth Elvestad not only placed her fleece in first place, but moved it to the MEDIUM ROSE GREY class. Ruth commented that there were not only sufficient white fibers there were also black fibers in the fleece. At AWE 2004 Judge Mike Safley remarked, "She is very typey." There is not one thing we would add to her. Her luster is even better with her second fleece. Her lock structure is consistent throughout her body. She is easy to handle and she is comfortable around people. Captain Morgan has proven his genetics through offspring like Kona. She has had 3 female crias in a row and all of them with high luster, coverage, density and beautiful locks. Kona is co-owned with Coulter's Critters.

Description

Queenie is just what a Suri should be. Luster, lock structure and coverage. Her second fleece is coming back with independent lock and rich medium brown. Her coverage is outstanding. Along with her Suri pressence, Queen of Starrs is an excellent female. She is a Captian Morgan granddaughter on her dam's side and a Aurora's Borealius granddaughter on her sire side. She is a SUPERIOR female. Queenie has two Color Champanionships from her first two shows in 2008. Two different judges. Queenie is in the previously shorn group and is winning over juveniles and never been shorn groups! Queenie is a "complete package", coverage, luster, density and lock structure coming back for her second fleece. Her first cria ia a superior male that placed 1st at the CABA Classic and 1st at NW Alpaca Showcase, 2010.
