Accoyo America Phoenix

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)Medium Fawn
AOA# 851807DOB: 8/2/200321 yrs
Not Actually Sold as he passed away, but I didn't want to delete him as we have his genetics on our farm! Accoyo America Phoenix is a spectacular example of Hemi-Accoyo genetics. He is the much decorated Medium Fawn son of Phoenicia, a full Peruvian, True Black, Camilio daughter who is also an AOBA National Black Color Champion. His Sire, Vic Junior, is the best-known full Peruvian son of Accoyo Victor, and grandson of Peruvian Hemingway. Phoenix is extremely dense with a bright fleece arranged in well-differentiated, long-stapled bundles. He’s a robust, vigorous, well-conformed herdsire with a long and successful show record. His annualized fleece weight for 2007 was 11.8 pounds and this 4th fleece still has amazing character and fineness. Oh my, Phoenix's cria have arrived, and we are NOT disappointed: Color, Density, Fineness, and Character. What more can we ask for? We now know we are extremely fortunate to have added this outstanding male to our herdsire row. Please email or phone to schedule a breeding.

Description

Miss Arizona is out of our grand dam Ms. Britney and is sired by Accoyo America Phoenix. She is a beautiful Mahogany color with a high amplitude medium frequency crimp. She has great brightness and density. The judges have also been very impressed with the consistency of her fleece. We are looking forward to breeding her after this year's show season to take advantage of the black in her lineage, specifically with Accoyo America Kodiak or Emerald Cloud Javelin. Still, there is always Snowmass Trilogy who has color in his background and great fineness. Either way it should be a great result! Over the years of breeding Miss Arizona... we've never been disappointed. At this point in time, her fiber is growing in a bit shorter than in her past... we just keep breeding her to males with projected long staple length, her cria are still amazing!
