Description

If you are a grey breeder or not you cannot pass on adding this unique colored girl to your foundation herd. Autumn Acres Crazie Mazie is a rich dark mahogany brown bred female from two grey parents. We made this pairing hoping for a grey cria, but when Mazie was dry and running we were not disappointed in her color. Mazie really has the overall package with a great balance of excellent conformation, a very fine high frequency Fleece style, and density to boot so what more would you want for your foundation. Mazie’s sire is our 8-time Champion Simba’s Silver Maze who we co-own with A.L. Pacas Farm and his grandsire Simba of A.L. Pacas who is a 9 Time Champion 12 Time Get of Sire winner. Her dam Platinum is one of our best foundation grey females that will probably never leave our farm. Mazie was not shown as a cria but she went to 4 very competitive shows in 2013 with 1 First, 2 Seconds, and 1 Third. We rebred Mazie’s mom Platinum to Silver maze and cria number 2 is a true black male and will debut in the 2013 fall shows. She is now rebred for the third time. We wanted to breed Mazie to a male that would compliment her fineness, so we chose our Champion Male ELK Matrix’s Bada Bing who we co-own with Double O Good Alpacas. Bada Bing should bring that Snowmass Matrix style fleece we all breed for and hopefully in color. Mazie’s fineness and wonderful structure together with Bada Bing should produce a dark show stopper for sure!!
