Turner is what I call a sleeper. His first female cria hit the ground in 2006. Not only does he throw his straight conformation, but this little girl is DSG. What a pleasant surprise. She just took a first at PAOBA in the yearling DSG class. We love his conformation and his beautiful vicuna coloring and dense fleece. He's done a great job of passing it on to his cria. His second cria is a True Black, and he just threw the prettiest dark rose gray. If you want to spice up the color in your herd, this is the boy for you. The judge commended his straight conformation and commanding presence at the 2005 SEPA show. See Turner's sales listing for photos. Each of his cria has had amazingly fine fleece and they have kept the low micron just as he has as they get older. If you want to add fine fleece and black or gray, Turner is your guy!

This girl is quite an eye-catcher. Her face is beautifully framed with white and she has an extremely gentle personality. Abby has the darkest fiber that could be considered brown. In the field she looks black. Her fiber has a very soft handle and has an excellent staple length. This girl is my "stealth gray". Abby is a great Gray Producer - 3 out of 5 cria (60%) have been rose or silver gray. She is 100% gray when bred to gray. And she's carrying a Carderock cria for the fall of 2015! She always has large healthy babies that grow fast and have no problems. She's a great no-nonsense mom! 2007 - Med Rose Gray male 2008 - Another Med Rose Gray male - this time out of a fawn! 2009 - Dark brown out of a fawn. Oct 2010 Beautiful brown female cria out of our Painted Spring Eldorado who is white. June 2012 - Silver gray male cria out of Maggie's Silver Moon Abby will be bred in the spring of 2016 to Carderock, our 2x National Fleece Champion

Description

Here is a great looking MRG with excellent bone structure and what looks like it will be phenomenal fleece. He's had his fiber spun in 2 spin offs and received 84's at both shows. His name, Atigre comes from the tiger stripes on his back legs. He has very tight crimps and extreme fineness. Out of our Sugar's Head Turnin' Image, we love the color and fleece, and expect he will retain his fineness as he gets older. Atigre's has been used for breeding and his first cria was born in June 2012. Beautiful straight boy with good bone and a fun attitude. We are selling Atigre as a fiber animal, but if you want to use him for breeding, he is ready and up to the task. Talk to us about upgrading to breeding status.
