He offers a genetic package that includes multiple award winners Snowbelt Hot Scot, Mister Antonio, Peruvian Hemingway AND Peruvian Bueno. We believe that there is a better than even chance that Glacier will throw color even when bred to white. Glacier is large boned, yet has a very compact body. His fleece character demonstrates a tight, high frequency crimp with exceptional staple length and coverage. These are characteristics that we expect Glacier to pass on when breeding. Steve Murray, an alpaca breeder and noted shearer in California has stated, “Glacier simply has the best fleece that I saw during the 2005 shearing season”. Steve knows his stuff and has his hands on hundreds of alpacas every year. A rare compliment indeed.
