March 2014- Zippy was almost sold and something happened at the new host farm - So - he is suddenly available - he is being released only because the last full Chilean female left and he does not have any suitable partners here on this farm as we move more to Bolivians. Zippy is a light fawn full Chilean male. His conformation is perfect and his fiber is, in one word, GORGEOUS. Incredible staple length, fine, dense and remarkable bundling and high-frequency crimp. With his sire being MSG and his dam TB, Zippy has great potential of throwing dark offspring. Zippy has his first cria on the ground...a female and is ready to start working for all of us. Take a good look at this male and see if he fits into your breeding program. He arrived here at his new farm Sunday and Monday - late April 2010 - was settling his first date, a B/W multi Chilean who refused the black suitor offered two weeks before. Come and take a look and you will see this is a great Chilean male.

Description

Shoshante is almost a mahogany brown - beautiful, unusual color. She delivered a healthy reddish brown suri female cria in May 2009 and is bred to our high-luster black suri Vortex for a summer 2010 baby. The 2009 baby, Shirley, went with another young female to a new farm in IN in Oct 2009. Off market now until she delivers and weans - 9/7/10 - another girl - rich brown - also submitted her registration since sire was registered. Whhops - this baby was selected to go to the Rangunan Zoo in Indonesia - see June 2011 Camelid Quarterly article! If you want to haggle on the price or choose a compatible female companion for her or snap up the perfect mate, give us a call or send email to start a conversation! Shoshante is confident around people, will take carrot or apple horse cookies from your hand and is comfortable eating with the guard llamas (f) She was acquired in a group buy and the people that had her failed to register one of her parents, so she could not qualify before that happened. Now that her sire IS registered along with her dam, she is eligible. Since she threw a suri last year, she was bred to another high-luster suri, so we shall see soon what she delivers. We do have Chilean huacayas now for a better rebreed for 2013..
