Very high luster suri male also high on uniformity and density. Medium stature, he leads well once he gets over being caught! Correct and square. He is currently in a pasture with two other alpacas and 2 llammas as well as some sheep and he is a PEACEKEEPER in that area. Found this out when his arrival buddy Apollo sneaked in and went after Macho and Vortex broke it up quickly so no one got hurt. American Alpacas has him listed as a stud with a fee of $1000 - however, he lives here, so a prospective client could contact me or Gary - whoever you would care to work with. While he has the best LUSTER of all the black suris - he is 3/4 Bolivian and since we now have sfive full Bolivians and a mandate to produce some full seedstock for new farms, we will not be using him so much. Consequently he is available for YOUR farm at an reasonable price or you can lease him for a season at about the cost of a single breeding. EXTRA Vortex's home farm is having some $ problems - SOOO- we will donate the breed fees of this fine male or any OTHER suri stud on our farm to Alpaca Galaxy - I talked to Matt Petty and he may serve as intermediary if that would be more comfortable for you - besides, we came up with this idea in a brainstorm session with Matt at the Fair.

Dee-Q

Very confident girl - had a fawn male in April 2009 and handled the whole experience with ease. Male went to a street fair in Columbus and we sold to a vendor there (who visited the farm several months before and said 'I want that one for my wife'). If you want to haggle on the price or choose a compatible female companion for her or snap up the perfect mate, give us a call or send email to start a conversation! NEWSFLASH - 2011 baby arrived May 1 - sire is our multi - Apollo - fawn with white face/neck - female 2010 baby is a fawn femele - but alas - she is sold - traded to IN woman 18, who took her to the Louisville NALS Nov 5 2010 and collected a Res Champion Ribbon. DQ was rebred to our 1/2 Bolivian pinto suri Apollo. Dee-Q is registered with ILR - the ORIGINAL camelid registry - ILR incubated what is now ARI.

Description

Nice bright, high luster suri cria whose dam is very people friendly and teaching her daughter to be the same way! She is learning to be independent of her dam and enjoys chasing around the pasture with 3 same-age buddies. August - she is starting to sample the grain and may be ready sooner than her mom thinks! September - she is weaned and moved to the independent youths pen. She has a date to go to the Farm Science Review on 9/23 along with some others to man the ORVLA booth Sonjia is SOLD!
