Lion was a 100% Chilean Import as a Herdsire. His Birthdate of 1993 is a guess. Deceased in 2010. His calm personality has passed on to his descendants at our farm, a wonderful trait. After purchasing a female in 2001, Aysen's Mimosa, who had a cria sired by Lion, Momma Ruth, who's fleece was lovely and competitive, I decided to find him... So, we purchased Lion late in life. Although his fleece was aging his offspring are desirable. Leia of Tin caught my eye at a small auction in PA, and she was purchased. She is 100% Chilean. Her Sire was True Black and her Dam was Medium Rose Gray, so the color possibilities were of interest. Registered Light Fawn, she is actually a classic gray tuxedo pattern over Fawn color, really a Light Rose Gray. She produced lovely crias for our farm, then she was SOLD. Wayne is deceased 1/29/2022. Wayne was a delightful unexpected outcome of a breeding between two fawn Chileans. He is a good looking classic Dark Silver Gray! Deceased December 2022, Wayne is missed. Wayne became the male pasture mascot! 1st cria - He sired Purple Post's Silver Trail, a handsome silver gray male by Windy's Samantha (SOLD), true black, 2015, which was a customer breeding. 2nd cria - bred to CCABC Rosie O'Grady, med rose gray, (SOLD), he sired a black female in 2019, at our customer's farm. (not registered) 3rd cria - bred to "Goldy" fawn, (SOLD), he sired a silver gray male in 2020, at our customer's farm. (Deceased) 4th cria - bred to our Windy's Catherine, DRG, he sired a silver gray male in the spring 2021.
