Description
Nitamatak, from Abenaki Acres Farm, joined our Foundation Female herd in the fall 2013. She is a beautiful Vicuna Patterned dam with crimpy dense fleece, like a carpet!
She has medium brown over most of her blanket changing to fawn and then to white on her underbelly. She has gorgeous dark points, which indicate she carries black genetics.
Nitamatak or "The First" in the Abenaki language was sired by Garrison, a multiple Color & Reserve Championship herdsire, from Abenaki Acres Farm.
Her first cria, Wligo, Brown Female DOB 5/28/2010, was sired by Reserve Champion Mlikigo. Wligo was Reserve Champion in her first fleece show!
Her 2nd cria, Windy's Josie, Dark Fawn Vicuna Pattern DOB 11/29/, was sired by Rosehaven's Peruvian Silver Crown, DRG. She looks a lot like Nitamatak with the same vicuna pattern in a lighter color. SOLD.
Her 3rd cria, Windy's Winter, Light Fawn, DOB 12/21/2020, sired by Windy's Isreal, Light Fawn, is just "special!" She has a friendly personality and her fleece is fine.
