AOA# 800922DOB: 10/5/1997
Chiquita Bandita is owned by Tuccillo Farm Alpacas in Chesterfield, New Jersey and she's offered here exclusively as a part of The Secret Meadow program of Close-Knit Alpacas. She can be purchased individually OR as part of an outstanding custom or coordinated package, and at an "unspeakable" price! Chiquita is a flashy looking, half Bolivian, half Chilean dam with a rich brown fleece and sharp white markings to help her stand out in a crowd. Her sire is Acero Markas La Paz 531, a dark fawn stud imported from Bolivia and sire of no fewer than 22 ARI registered offspring (13 females). Chiquita's dam is a daughter of Blackthorn HST G463, another import, but this time from Chile. Blackthorn's true black color, combined with Chiquita's dam's light silver grey color indicate that Chiquita is chocked FULL of "grey producing genetics." For anyone looking to produce silver and rose greys in their program, Chiquita Bandita will make a wonderful selection. Chiquita is a proven dam who, with nine ARI registered cria to her credit, has demonstrated all the reliable traits one looks for in a foundation dam. She's "a good breeder," says farm manager, Shirley Vaughn, "and has easy deliveries and unassisted births...she's the boss," adds Shirley, and "The Mom." When I asked Shirley what one word best describes Chiquita, she said, "Maternal." Excellent! "Yeah, she's a good mother," confirms Shirley. Three of her offspring are also on this sales list, so take a look at HANDSOM ESS IMPACA, JACKSON OF TUCCILLO FARM & LUKE QUITA! As far as temperament and handling, Shirley also tells us Chiquita has a "good temperament," and does well with haltering, leading and cooperating with herd health procedures. Chiquita Bandita is obviously getting older, but she's still got years ahead of her and can offer some uncommon genetics to any quality colored breeding program. Make Chiquita Bandita your next addition to your production herd today - you will be glad you did! Description

Jackson is wholly owned by Tuccillo Farm in Chesterfield, New Jersey, and is offered exclusively via The Secret Meadow of Close-Knit Alpacas. He can be purchased individually or as part of a Collection either pre-coordinated or custom-made to meet your alpaca needs. Jackson is the result of a mix of alpaca lines from the U.K., Peru, Chile and Bolivia. On his sire's side, you will see the medium fawn studs, PPeruvian Camilio G4561 and his son PCA Peruvian Microsoft, then there are alpacas out of Chile (like Shoo Shoo, a silver grey female) and TK Yogi Bear out of the U.K. (dark brown with black) and they produced the stud, TK Bar Spike (medium brown) who sired Pacific Crest Prim Rose, the dam of Peaceful Valley Tristan (Jackson's sire). Jackson's dam, Chiquita Bandita, has proven to be a strong, reliable, healthy production dam fortified with colorful genes from Bolivia and Chile (see her listing, as she is also on this sales list). Reproductive qualities and traits are highly heritable in alpacas, so, while Jackson is unproven, we have no reason to believe he would have any reproductive problems or issues. Jackson's conformation appears to be correct and true. He has an upright carriage, nice head, substantial bone and is well endowed with even, amply sized testes. Jackson has a nice color to his fiber, and his density is decent, too, though due to his original owner's recent passing, fiber samples from the middle of his side for an up to the minute histogram were not conducted. This next year's shearing should provide more helpful data as to his present fleece stats. Do take a close look at Jackson for your colored alpaca fiber herd. He could be just what you're looking for! To obtain your personal set of "Keys" to all the details and unique purchasing options, please visit: WWW.THE-SECRET-MEADOW.COM
