Casanova and Harmony Rose did it again! A FULL SISTER to Aussie .38 Special had arrived!
We could fill up this section with all the wonderful things Casanova has done for our Farm over the last 9 years since we purchased him. Simply, he is now 14 years old and we still own him along with our partners at Finger Lakes Alpacas! We think that says it all.
Casanova has consistently produced offspring that are Champions in the Halter and Fleece Shows. He was a Champion in his time too. At 5 years of age he received the Judge's Choice Fleece award from Judge Ruth Elvestad. This is quite an achievement for any alpaca at 5 years. Of course he won in the Show Ring also!
He has sired many award winning alpacas that have gone on to produce quality offspring also. Let's name a few:

Dam: Imaginary Farm's Lucille
31047517<--ari-->Light Silver Grey<--color--> Lucille is a wonderful female. Great conformation, bite and personality. Her fleece is very dense with good crimp. She has the beautiful typey head the judges love. We saw her and had to take her home. Our lovely Lucille took 1st at The Mid America Alpaca Show in October 2004, after which she was off to get bred. We look forward to what she and Casanova will create for us. UPDATE..the wait was well worth it. Lucille delivered a beautiful grey female on October 12 with no assistance or complications. Victor's Hemiaccoyo Cassanova was the perfect choice for our special grey. Thank you Timmermans. So perfect, we've repeated the combination for a 2008 cria.

Description
Will was a bit of a surprise as his full sister is a Medium Grey. He has the genetics to produce outstanding cria. He has a tremendous amount of fleece with great staple length and coverage. His crimp is bold and uniform. He has that typey, "peruvian" head that shows so well. His sister started her show career winning Supreme Huacaya Female and ended it with Color Champion. If you're shopping for a male from the Victor Hemiaccoyo lineage be sure to check out Will.
Will placed a respectable 3rd in his class at The MOPACA Invitational in Kansas City IN 2009. He's an easy male to handle and a joy to show and just be around. The judge commented on his striking looks as he entered the ring. He has fantastic staple and a wide crimp style. His conformation and balance are perfect along with solid bone structure.
We sheared on April 13, 2009 and this youngster sheared a whopping 7.2 pounds!!!
Judge, Sharon Loner, had some wonderful comments about Will at the Alpacas of the Ozarks Show 2009 when she awarded him with a 1st place ribbon, then the Color Championship.
Competition was tough at the MOPACA 2010 show. Will placed 5th out of 12 entries that included several of the top farms in the country.
We believe that Will will be a wonderful herdsire for the right farm. With championship bloodlines, lots of color, including grey in his background, he will be a very versatile breeder. We also feel very strong about conformation, quality fiber and the overall health of the animal. AND we are proud to produce friendly, social, well behaved animals as well. There are a lot of farm visitors that would happily place Will at the top of all of these attributes. We've used Will on two females in the spring. From those breedings Will produced a dark brown female and a light brown male. Both crias are strong and healthy. His son is listed with Aztec Princess.
