With 8 championships & 16 blue ribbons, Invasion is one of the top full Accoyo colored herdsires in the country. With 13 champion cria, it has become clear that Invasion is passing on his elite fleece characteristics to his offspring. Invasion is adding outstanding crimp, color, density, brightness & well respected lineage to his cria. As evident from his own show record, judges around the country agree that Invasion is an elite alpaca. Now statistics from his recent skin biopsy test support his caliber of fleece. In addition his first Ideuma Creek cria are doing outstanding in fleece shows. Using all of the tools available, Invasion keeps proving time & time again that he is a superior herdsire. If you're looking to add density, consider Invasion's skin biopsy report done by Ian Watt: Follicle Denisty - 65.28 Secondary:Primary Ratio 14.4 : 1 "This is a high quality male whose primary breeding objective should be to deliver elite fleece trait genetics in any breeding plan, especially where color is a consideration" - Ian Watt Invasion's cria have more than impressive results. In just three years of showing our Ideuma Creek Invasion cria, they have earned 14 championships, 5 different cria have earned the BEST BRIGHTNESS award and 3 different cria have won the BEST CRIMP award. In addition, Ideuma Creek's Bo Jangles (owned by Prairie's Edge Alpacas) just took JUDGE'S CHOICE at MOPACA! As you would expect, Invasion does not come by these elite fleece traits by chance. He is a Royal Fawn grandson. His genetics come from well respected & well tested lineages. At age 6, he still holds fantastic crimp & fineness. Invasion is passing on color as well. He has produced every color cria including BLACK as well as superior white cria. Proudly co-owned with NYALA.

SALE PENDING Gianna is a gorgeous, dense Peruvian import with beautiful soft fleece. Even at her older age, her fleece still exhibits nice crimp. Gianna is an excellent mom and has produced champion offspring including blue ribbon winners, color champions and most recently the winner of the 2010 AFCNA's fleece show's best brightness award - out of 350 fleeces. Her cria have ranged in color from light brown to true black to grey. She is a proven producer of excellent cria including reserve color champion, Peruvian Ivy, multiple blue ribbon winner, Peruvian Samantha and most recently color champion, Peruvian Roslyn. Gianna's price is a reflection of her age and certainly not her quality. She is top-notch and has proven time and time again, bred to many different males, that she can duplicate her fineness in her offspring. We chose to leave Gianna open this year. Her 2010 cria, a gorgeous solid true black male, was born in September. She was a bit thin so because of her age, we decided to keep her open until the spring. If you purchase her this winter, you can chose the herdsire yourself - and there are a lot to chose from! She has produced a fawn champion when bred to our 8X champion Accoyo Invasion. She has produced black and a grey blue ribbon winner when bred to our Reserve Color Champion The Scotsman. Other good choices include our fawn champion El Nino son, Accoyo Zagot and our newest herdsire, Accoyo Cuba, a fawn Express son whose micron count is 16!

The focus of our close to 20 year breeding program has been fleece - fine fleece, dense fleece, fleece with a long staple length & fleece that is consistent in fineness, crimp & color. Our primary focus has been fleece. When cria are born, we evaluate them on their fleece quality & conformation - color is often a bonus & has not been a focus for us. So when we got that "gotta have a grey" compulsion and began looking for a grey herd sire to breed to some of our best fleeced girls who have generations of ancestors here on the farm, we had some very high expectations in mind. We don't want to just produce greys. We don't want to just produce a nice grey. We want to be able to produce nice greys as consistently as we've produced elite fleeced whites & fawns. When I saw Mattie for the first time, I was impressed. When I felt Mattie for the first time, I was in love. Then the research began & the fleece samples were requested & the micron reports were gone over with a fine toothed comb. It quickly became evident to me that Mattie could produce beautifully fleeced cria consistently for our farm. His fleece is exquisite. With a low micron and a low CV, his fleece has a buttery feel & an uncommonly soft handle, especially for a grey. His staple length rivals some of the best at my farm. He has consistent, tight crimp & has few spots on his blanket. Mattie's genetics are among the best in the business. His sire is Lancaster, owned by Flying Pony, whose genetics are so sought after, he has over 300 cria. Mattie is among only 6 grey males that Lancaster has ever produced. Lancaster's sire is Conan whom we've admired for years. We have several Conan offspring here on the farm and rarely part with these genetics. Mattie's dam is a ribbon winner herself who has produced gorgeous cria including a Judge's Choice winner. We are proud to co-own Mattie with Gentle Breeze Alpacas & Out of Sight Alpacas.

UPDATE - Ros's histogram just came in - check out her IMPRESSIVE numbers! Roslyn is a full Peruvian, half Accoyo out of one of the best ribboned colored full Accoyos on the East Coast. She's worth taking a look at! At her very first fleece show, the AFCNA - a level 4 show - she took a blue ribbon in dark fawn, a color championship & the best brightness award out of more than 350 fleeces! She is now a 2X Champion. Ros comes from exceptional lineage. Her dam is Peruvian Gianna, a '98 import who has given us three female cria (including Ros) since she has been on our farm. Her rose-grey daughter, Ivy, is a reserve color champion, & her rose-grey daughter, Samantha is a multiple blue ribbon winner. Ros's sire is our own 8X champion, 16X blue ribbon winning herd sire, SA Accoyo Invasion. Invasion's first cria have taken home multiple championships and blues in halter & fleece. In addition to these awards, Ros's paternal siblings have taken the very coveted fleece awards of best brightness & best crimp & Judge's Choice. We have bred Roslyn to Peruvian Grey Matter. It's no secret. We're hoping for a grey!! The wonderful thing is no matter what color the cria is, with these two as parents, its fleece should be incredible. What the Judges say: "Unusually luscious handle and exceptional brightness. Wow, what a combo!" - Wade Gease "Good Character and Brightness" - Wade Gease "Good length to staple and brightness" - Amanda VandenBosch "Beautifully bright fleece. Fein, soft and uniform" - Ursula Munro We are offering Ros with silver grey Angelica for a package price of $1950. Both girls are bred and confirmed with ultrasounds for cria in the summer of 2016.
