SA Avenger's Accoyo Invasion

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)Beige
AOA# 1390230DOB: 5/27/200420 yrs
With 8 championships & 16 blue ribbons, Invasion is one of the top full Accoyo colored herdsires in the country. With 13 champion cria, it has become clear that Invasion is passing on his elite fleece characteristics to his offspring. Invasion is adding outstanding crimp, color, density, brightness & well respected lineage to his cria. As evident from his own show record, judges around the country agree that Invasion is an elite alpaca. Now statistics from his recent skin biopsy test support his caliber of fleece. In addition his first Ideuma Creek cria are doing outstanding in fleece shows. Using all of the tools available, Invasion keeps proving time & time again that he is a superior herdsire. If you're looking to add density, consider Invasion's skin biopsy report done by Ian Watt: Follicle Denisty - 65.28 Secondary:Primary Ratio 14.4 : 1 "This is a high quality male whose primary breeding objective should be to deliver elite fleece trait genetics in any breeding plan, especially where color is a consideration" - Ian Watt Invasion's cria have more than impressive results. In just three years of showing our Ideuma Creek Invasion cria, they have earned 14 championships, 5 different cria have earned the BEST BRIGHTNESS award and 3 different cria have won the BEST CRIMP award. In addition, Ideuma Creek's Bo Jangles (owned by Prairie's Edge Alpacas) just took JUDGE'S CHOICE at MOPACA! As you would expect, Invasion does not come by these elite fleece traits by chance. He is a Royal Fawn grandson. His genetics come from well respected & well tested lineages. At age 6, he still holds fantastic crimp & fineness. Invasion is passing on color as well. He has produced every color cria including BLACK as well as superior white cria. Proudly co-owned with NYALA.

Producer of Champions!

Peruvian Ultra Violet

HuacayaOpen (Female)White
AOA# 828694DOB: 8/19/200024 yrs
Ultra Violet is one pretty girl. She's got a very typey Peruvian look, a nice top knot and beautiful, dense, bright fleece. She is the daughter of Maple Brook Bolero, a Bueno son who took a blue at The 2008 North American Show - at 12 years of age! Her conformation is excellent. And check out her latest fleece stats - micron count of 21.7 and a coefficient of variation of just 17.7 - and she's NINE years old! Holding onto fine, crimpy fiber is something very valued in our national herd. Her sire, Bolero, has done this, and like her sire, UV is maintaing exceptional fleece quality well into her mature years. And she's passing on this beautiful fleece to her offspring. Her cria from 2008, Ideuma Creek's Peruvian Luminescence (whose sire is our own Accoyo Invasion), is a four time champion with both the best brightness award and the best crimp award. UV's cria from this year is a gorgeous beige male, a full brother to Luminescence. He promises to have fiber every bit as nice as his sister's. Roscoe was sold before he was even weaned and will stand stud in Kansas when he is old enough. Her 2010 cria, Peruvian Alexandra, is out of our champion fawn El Nino son, Accoyo Zagot. She was purchased just after she was weaned. Our plans are to breed UV first thing this spring. She continually produces elite fleeced cria for us!

Service Sire: PHA Accoyo Stratosphere

PHA Accoyo Stratosphere

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)Medium Fawn
AOA# 1145229DOB: 8/28/200420 yrs
We are thrilled to announce our new partnership with Pleasant Hill Alpacas & Canterbury Farms Alpacas on this incredible herd sire. Strat is one of the premiere fawn Accoyo herd sires in the country. In just 3 years of cria in the show ring, his offspring have over 35 championships & over 68 blue ribbons. When Genine, our partner from Canterbury Farms Alpacas, went to the 2010 Kentucky Classic, she couldn’t have been more proud; a Strat cria won the white color championship. A Strat cria won the black reserve color championship, & a Strat cria won the brown reserve color championship as well! It is no wonder Strat took 1st place, get-of-sire at that show & at the OABA Alpacafest as well! In addition to these 2 Get-of-Sires, Strat has 5 blue ribbons for his awesome conformation & beautiful fiber. He has never been beat by another full Accoyo in the show ring! Stratosphere is the product of 4Peruvian Accoyo Legacy, the highest selling alpaca of all time, & Accoyo Astillero, the dam of multiple blue ribbon & champion cria. He is 1 of only a handful of full Accoyos that Legacy has EVER produced, & is 1 of only 2 herd sire Medium Fawn Full Accoyo Legacy sons in the world! Stratosphere CONSISTANTLY improves the dam, at every level adding density, crimp, fineness & beautiful coverage & heads to his cria. In addition to quality, Strat adds COLOR as well. He is a rich medium fawn & has produced cria of all colors including black & grey. In fact, almost every black cria that he has produced has become a champion! Call about our Book-a-Breeding Incentives and our special breeding packages. Right now we’re featuring our “Make A Champion Cria” package featuring a breeding to Stat and an Accoyo Invasion breeding for $3500. The best way to make a champion cria is to breed to a male that consistently is producing champion cria. Visit Strat here in New York this summer! UPDATE - at MAPACA 2011 - Strat cria took blues in white, black, beige and brown - the reserve color championship in white and the color championship in black! To celebrate Strat's inaugural visit to NY, we are offering $1k off his breeding fee to the first ten who book breedings with him. That's $1500 for a breeding to Strat!

Description

Included in our ABUNDANCE OF ACCOYOS SALE - we have to make room for our 2012 cria. This price is for a limited time only and is more than half off! For more information or to view a complete list of alpacas included in this sale, visit our website at www.icalpacas.com Luminescence is the combination of Ultra Violet (her name says it all about her soft, bright fleece) & our 8X champion, Accoyo Invasion. Among the accolades that Invasion & his fleece have received, Best Brightness at PAOBA 2006 is at least partially responsible for Luminescence's sparkling fleece & thus her name. Luminescence, Nessie for short, not only has very bright fleece, but very soft, very crimpy fleece as well. She was the first Invasion female born here at our farm, & we are absolutely thrilled with her. Nessie's dam, Peruvian Ultra Violet, is a very typey girl out of Maple Brook Bolero. Bolero is a Bueno son who, just this past spring, took a blue at the NAAS at the age of 12! Bolero has obviously retained his elite, soft fleece well into his adulthood. The same is true for UV, & should be for Nessie as well. This maternal side of Nessie's pedigree adds a nice splash of Alianza bloodlines to her heritage. The sire side adds full Accoyo bloodlines from our 8X champion, 16X blue ribbon winning herdsire, Accoyo Invasion. Vasi's impressive pedigree, adds Avenger & Royal Fawn to Nessie's paternal lineage. In short, Nessie has some impressive genetics backing her up on both sides of her pedigree. Here's what the judges are saying about Nessie's fleece: "Spectacular fineness, density, uniformity! Exceptional structure & brightness" - Cheryl Gehly "Great hand & well nourished fleece. Nice uniformity." - Andrea MacDonald "Very nice fleece. Very competitive class. Excellent brightness. Good staple length." - Sara Jane Maclennan In her very first show, Shepherd's Harvest 2009, Nessie took the Best Crimp Award (out of 97 fleeces!), a reserve color championship & a blue ribbon! At her 2nd show, she took Best Brightness (out of 199 fleeces!) She has since earned a total of four championships and four blue ribbons! We have bred Neccie to our CHAMPION full Accoyo fawn herdsire, Accoyo Zagot. He has blue ribbons in both halter and fleece. This pairing will meld the genetics of Royal Fawn, Bueno and Caligula through El Nino! It should be one spectacular cria with amazing fleece!
