Silver Bullet is stunning. Perhaps the color most desired by alpaca breeders, Silver can produce any and every color alpaca. When bred to solid black dams, he should produce only black and silver grey cria. And color isn't all he has to offer! Coming from full Peruvian descent, his fleece is exceptionally soft and crimpy - even his tail is crimpy! Bullet has good density and nice coverage. Bullet has very little white on his legs and an almost solid silver grey blanket, something that judges like to see! Bullet's sire has multiple ribbons, Bullet has multiple ribbons, as does his full sister. He is destined to produce ribbon winners himself. We are delighted to add Peruvain Silver Bullet to our herd sire line up. He is fully owned and will reside here at Ideuma Creek all year long. Spring 2009 Update - Bullet's first two cria are here - a dense, crimpy true black solid male here at Ideuma Creek, and a gorgeous silver grey full Peruvian girl at Heather-Rayne Farm. We're both delighted with these first Silver Bullet offspring! Summer 2010 Update - More Bullet cria have arrived! Silver Grey Silver Bella sold before she was weaned. True black females Eclipse and Abbey Dubbel are gorgeous. Gentle Breeze Alpacas had silver grey Annie, a beautiful girl, and Bambi gave us a dense, fawn fiber-blocked boy who is fabulous. We are very pleased with Bullet's performance and look forward to his 2011 cria crop.

Gorgeous Brown Peruvian Import

CPeruvian Carmita 1230 IMPF98

HuacayaOpen (Female)Medium Brown
AOA# 806366DOB: 1/1/1997
SALE PENDING Carmita is from the '98 Peruvian importation where each and every alpaca was scrutinized before being allowed to enter the U.S. We wanted only the best entering into our national herd, and Carmita was chosen. It's not difficult to see why. Carmita is very straight and correct with gorgeous dark fleece and a sweet face. Her fiber is still quite dense and crimpy and the quality of her genetics shows through her offspring. Her cria have ranged in color from fawn to true black. What is consistent about them is dark color, crimpy fleece and gorgeous fiber filled faces. Her 2010 cria, Ideuma Creek's Peruvian Eclipse, is a spectacular solid true black. We wanted to give Carmita a year off due to her age and a thinning body condition. We are giving her extra grain and pampering her this winter and will breed her first thing in the spring 2011.

Description

Eclipse is out of one of the best dams we have ever had here on the farm. Carmita is a dark brown 1998 import whose fleece is fine and has stayed impressively soft as she has grown old with AFDs in the low to mid 20 range with a CV of 20.6 - not bad for a 12 year old dark girl! Carmita has given some incredible cria in her day including Peruvian Harpo who stands stud at Gentle Breeze Alpacas and our own Ultra Violet who is part of our herd and continues to gove us multiple champion cria. Eclipse now is added to Carmita's list of 9 fantastic cria - only this time, for the first time, in true black! Eclipse promises to be an asset to a dark full Peruvian breeding program. She comes from excellent genetics on both sides of her pedigree. Her sire is Peruvian Silver Bullet, a blue ribbon boy from Hickory Ridge Farm. She has nothing but full Peruvian genetics in her background and should consistently be able to produce quality cria. Eclipse has a nice solid build covered with beautifully crimpy soft black fleece. She has a more refined conformation and a sweet face and personality. She will come with a breeding to the Ideuma Creek herd sire of your choice. You can use reserve color champion and five time blue ribbon winner Peruvian The Scotsman or Perucoyo Icon, a Victor grandson for an almost guaranteed true black cria or if you'd like to add some more Accoyo to the cria's pedigree, there are many options for you. 8X champion, Accoyo Invasion definitely covers black and has produced 10 champions so far. Accoyo Zagot and Accoyo Truman are both fawn full Accoyo champions and we also have Accoyo Cuba Libre to offer. He's a very dark fawn full Accoyo Express son with a 16.4 micron. If you want to get started or add to your already high quality full Peruvian dark breeding program, you might want to consider Eclipse. Take her to some shows. Win some ribbons, and then chose one of our elite fleeced males for her first cria.
