Reserve Color Champion, 4 Time Blue Ribbon Winner, Solid True Black, Full Peruvian, Son of AOBA National Conference Reserve Color Champion, More than 10 ribbons to his name. Sure, we're proud to have Scotty here on our farm. We can now proudly add producer of color champion to his list of attributes. Scotty has produced several blue ribbon cria proving that he can pass on his exceptional fleece qualities & excellent typey conformation to his offspring. At the latest show, the Western NY Show, his cria took two blues (in grey and black) and a color championship in black! We love the rich, wonderful array of colors that alpacas come in. We want a rainbow of natural colors grazing in our fields. We don't, however, want to sacrifice the soft, fine fleece that is so often associated with the lightest colored alpacas. Here too, Scotty has what it takes. Judges have made comments (right before handing him a blue ribbon!) on his density, consistent crimp throughout his blanket and on his outstanding fineness and handle. What is equaly important (or perhaps even more important) is that Scotty is keeping his fineness and density as he matures. He recently took a 1st place ribbon at the 2005 Buckeye Classic in a mature true black class. The judge placed him 1st & commented on the wonderful hand of his fleece for an older male. In his last show, the 2005 PAOBA Breeders Showcase, Scotty was awarded a blue ribbon by Jude Anderson who placed him 1st based on his density, fineness, hand & excellent conformation. We are proud to have Scotty's genetics to our herd. Come & visit. We are confident you will be just as impressed as we are with his show record, the feel of his fleece, his conformation & his presence. He resides here at Ideuma Creek all year.

Dam: CPeruvian Gianna IMP98

Producer of Champion Cria!

CPeruvian Gianna IMP98

HuacayaOpen (Female)Medium Rose Grey
AOA# 806456DOB: 1/1/1996
SALE PENDING Gianna is a gorgeous, dense Peruvian import with beautiful soft fleece. Even at her older age, her fleece still exhibits nice crimp. Gianna is an excellent mom and has produced champion offspring including blue ribbon winners, color champions and most recently the winner of the 2010 AFCNA's fleece show's best brightness award - out of 350 fleeces. Her cria have ranged in color from light brown to true black to grey. She is a proven producer of excellent cria including reserve color champion, Peruvian Ivy, multiple blue ribbon winner, Peruvian Samantha and most recently color champion, Peruvian Roslyn. Gianna's price is a reflection of her age and certainly not her quality. She is top-notch and has proven time and time again, bred to many different males, that she can duplicate her fineness in her offspring. We chose to leave Gianna open this year. Her 2010 cria, a gorgeous solid true black male, was born in September. She was a bit thin so because of her age, we decided to keep her open until the spring. If you purchase her this winter, you can chose the herdsire yourself - and there are a lot to chose from! She has produced a fawn champion when bred to our 8X champion Accoyo Invasion. She has produced black and a grey blue ribbon winner when bred to our Reserve Color Champion The Scotsman. Other good choices include our fawn champion El Nino son, Accoyo Zagot and our newest herdsire, Accoyo Cuba, a fawn Express son whose micron count is 16!

Description

This little future herdsire oozes with potential. First of all he's a solid true black full Peruvian out of two outstanding parents. His sire, The Scotsman, was produced by Highland Alpaca and was taken through the show circuit by Fay and Jen. Scotty is a Reserve Color Champion with 4 blue ribbons. Blackie Carbon's paternal grandam is Boadicea, an AOBA Reserve Color Champion. His paternal siblings include multiple blue ribbon winners and color champions including our own Peruvian Marnia, a 2X color champion in black. Blackie's maternal genetics are equally as impressive. His dam, CPeruvian Gianna was an import from the 1998 importation, and if you saw her fleece, you'd know why she was selected to come to this country. Even at her very old age, Gianna's fleece is crimpy and continues to hang onto it's fineness. Gianna has produced four cria for us here at Ideuma Creek, including Blackie Carbon. Her first girl, Peruvian Ivy is a Reserve Color Champion. Her second cria, Peruvian Samantha, a full sister to Blackie, is a multiple blue ribbon winner, and her '09 cria, Peruvian Rosyln, just has been entered into two shows. She's received a first, a second, a color championship and the best brightness award (out of 350 fleeces!) There is no question that Blackie's pedigree is backed with solid genetics and ribbon winning siblings on both sides. He has a gorgeous face, a solid build and very, very soft true black fiber. We have every reason to believe he will do just as well as his maternal and paternal siblings in the show ring. We are offering Blackie Carbon in a package with our beautiful fawn boy, Peruvian Rare Vos Amber, a totally unrelated future fawn herd sire who covers black. The package price has just been reduced to $5K. This week we're offering the package up at auction, and the reserve price is far, far lower than $5K! There has been a lot of interest in this package. This could be the week it goes (and with the reserve I have, it could go very, very low!!)
