PHA Accoyo Zagot

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)Medium Fawn
AOA# 30911383DOB: 8/15/200717 yrs
Elite, rare & colored full Accoyo genetics comprise our newest herdsire, Accoyo Zagot, who has his first confirmed pregnancies. At his very first fleece show, Zagot earned a blue ribbon (out of 7) and a COLOR CHAMPIONSHIP in lights! He also just took a blue in halter at the NJ Alpaca Show. Elite - Zagot is a powerhouse of Accoyo genetics. He is a cross of 2 of the best Accoyo parents out there. His sire is the recently deceased El Nino, considered by many to be the best son of Caligula. El Nino was described by a prominent judge as "the perfect alpaca" and took the coveted title of All American Alpaca Futurity Herdsire of the Year in 05. Zagot's dam is Astillero, a 95 import who has clearly produced some of the best full Accoyos in this country - a full brother to Zagot, Francisco (4 time champion),Stratosphere (5 Blues), & Armando who stands stud at Hilltop Alpacas. Zagot's sire & dam have both had a tremendous influence on the national herd. We are anxious for Zagot to have such an influence on our own herd. Rare - Zagot's bloodlines are about as rare as they come. He is a medium fawn full Accoyo which is rare enough. He is the last in his maternal bloodline. His dam died when Zaggot was only 2 months old. His sire, El Nino, died just months ago. Zagot's heritage simply can't be duplicated. Zagot is 1 of only 4 fawn full Accoyos that El Nino produced. Color - There are a very, very small # of fawn full Accoyos out there to begin with. Zagot is a fawn out of 2 of the best white Accoyos available in this country. His sire has produced several dark brown & a true black cria & his dam has produced 2 cria from different sires that have thrown black cria. With Zagot's dark gums and nails, he has a darn good chance of producing dark cria himself. We quite simply are thrilled to have him on our farm. His first cria here at Ideuma Creek have amazing fleece. He sired a bright, crimpy, uniform full Accoyo fawn girl, Accoyo Divinity, that we can't wait to show and our most recent addition to our herd, Peruvian Alexandra who has crimpy-beyond-belief fleece! PHA Accoyo Zagot is proudly co-owned with our good friends, Kevin & Martha Cady of Gentle Breeze Alpacas. His breeding fee is for a limited # of outside breedings.

Peruvian Ultra Violet

HuacayaOpen (Female)White
AOA# 828694DOB: 8/19/200024 yrs
Ultra Violet is one pretty girl. She's got a very typey Peruvian look, a nice top knot and beautiful, dense, bright fleece. She is the daughter of Maple Brook Bolero, a Bueno son who took a blue at The 2008 North American Show - at 12 years of age! Her conformation is excellent. And check out her latest fleece stats - micron count of 21.7 and a coefficient of variation of just 17.7 - and she's NINE years old! Holding onto fine, crimpy fiber is something very valued in our national herd. Her sire, Bolero, has done this, and like her sire, UV is maintaing exceptional fleece quality well into her mature years. And she's passing on this beautiful fleece to her offspring. Her cria from 2008, Ideuma Creek's Peruvian Luminescence (whose sire is our own Accoyo Invasion), is a four time champion with both the best brightness award and the best crimp award. UV's cria from this year is a gorgeous beige male, a full brother to Luminescence. He promises to have fiber every bit as nice as his sister's. Roscoe was sold before he was even weaned and will stand stud in Kansas when he is old enough. Her 2010 cria, Peruvian Alexandra, is out of our champion fawn El Nino son, Accoyo Zagot. She was purchased just after she was weaned. Our plans are to breed UV first thing this spring. She continually produces elite fleeced cria for us!

Description

Peruvian Alexandra is one of our first cria out of our new herd sire, PHA Accoyo Zagot. We purchased Zagot because of his outstanding lineage, his beautiful zipper crimp and his exquisite feel. He is a champion fawn full Accoyo with blue ribbons in both halter and fleece. When he began winning accolades, we were not surprised as he is a product of El Nino and Astillero (dam to Stratosphere and Francisco). This also makes him a Caligula grandson. We are certainly pleased with his first set of cria, and Alex is no exception. Peruvian Ultra Violet, Alex's dam, has produced some of the nicest cria here on our farm. Out of Conan, she produced Peruvian Lily who we sold before she was even weaned. UV has also produced Roscoe who is now standing stud in Kansas and Luminescence who is a 4X champion with the best brightness award and the best crimp award. In short, Alexandra comes from outstanding lineage on both sides of her pedigree! She is a sweet little girl that promises to develop into an adult alpaca much like her maternal siblings. She is very young, and that is the only reason her price is so reasonable. She will come with a breeding to the Ideuma Creek herd sire of your choice when she is old enough. Since she does cover at least fawn, you might want to consider Accoyo Cuba Libre, one of the darkest fawn full Accoyos we've ever seen. He's an Accoyo Express son with a 16.4 micron. These two would produce a full Peruvian, 3/4 Accoyo cria that has a splash of Alianza through Bueno - now that's a nice pedigree! We really like to sell alpacas in pairs so we often will offer some outstanding package deals, like this one. We are offering Alexandra, an Accoyo Zagot daughter along with Ruthie, an Accoyo Invasion daughter in a special package that is up for auction now. That includes two breedings to any of our herd sires. You can use these breedings on any of your females. Both girls have champion Accoyo fathers from different lineages and are full of potential.
