HuacayaHerdsire (Male)True Black
AOA# 841522DOB: 7/7/200222 yrs
Reserve Color Champion, 4 Time Blue Ribbon Winner, Solid True Black, Full Peruvian, Son of AOBA National Conference Reserve Color Champion, More than 10 ribbons to his name. Sure, we're proud to have Scotty here on our farm. We can now proudly add producer of color champion to his list of attributes. Scotty has produced several blue ribbon cria proving that he can pass on his exceptional fleece qualities & excellent typey conformation to his offspring. At the latest show, the Western NY Show, his cria took two blues (in grey and black) and a color championship in black! We love the rich, wonderful array of colors that alpacas come in. We want a rainbow of natural colors grazing in our fields. We don't, however, want to sacrifice the soft, fine fleece that is so often associated with the lightest colored alpacas. Here too, Scotty has what it takes. Judges have made comments (right before handing him a blue ribbon!) on his density, consistent crimp throughout his blanket and on his outstanding fineness and handle. What is equaly important (or perhaps even more important) is that Scotty is keeping his fineness and density as he matures. He recently took a 1st place ribbon at the 2005 Buckeye Classic in a mature true black class. The judge placed him 1st & commented on the wonderful hand of his fleece for an older male. In his last show, the 2005 PAOBA Breeders Showcase, Scotty was awarded a blue ribbon by Jude Anderson who placed him 1st based on his density, fineness, hand & excellent conformation. We are proud to have Scotty's genetics to our herd. Come & visit. We are confident you will be just as impressed as we are with his show record, the feel of his fleece, his conformation & his presence. He resides here at Ideuma Creek all year.

Dam: Tuacca

Service Sire: PHA Accoyo Zagot

CHAMPION Fawn Full Accoyo!

PHA Accoyo Zagot

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)Medium Fawn
AOA# 30911383DOB: 8/15/200717 yrs
Elite, rare & colored full Accoyo genetics comprise our newest herdsire, Accoyo Zagot, who has his first confirmed pregnancies. At his very first fleece show, Zagot earned a blue ribbon (out of 7) and a COLOR CHAMPIONSHIP in lights! He also just took a blue in halter at the NJ Alpaca Show. Elite - Zagot is a powerhouse of Accoyo genetics. He is a cross of 2 of the best Accoyo parents out there. His sire is the recently deceased El Nino, considered by many to be the best son of Caligula. El Nino was described by a prominent judge as "the perfect alpaca" and took the coveted title of All American Alpaca Futurity Herdsire of the Year in 05. Zagot's dam is Astillero, a 95 import who has clearly produced some of the best full Accoyos in this country - a full brother to Zagot, Francisco (4 time champion),Stratosphere (5 Blues), & Armando who stands stud at Hilltop Alpacas. Zagot's sire & dam have both had a tremendous influence on the national herd. We are anxious for Zagot to have such an influence on our own herd. Rare - Zagot's bloodlines are about as rare as they come. He is a medium fawn full Accoyo which is rare enough. He is the last in his maternal bloodline. His dam died when Zaggot was only 2 months old. His sire, El Nino, died just months ago. Zagot's heritage simply can't be duplicated. Zagot is 1 of only 4 fawn full Accoyos that El Nino produced. Color - There are a very, very small # of fawn full Accoyos out there to begin with. Zagot is a fawn out of 2 of the best white Accoyos available in this country. His sire has produced several dark brown & a true black cria & his dam has produced 2 cria from different sires that have thrown black cria. With Zagot's dark gums and nails, he has a darn good chance of producing dark cria himself. We quite simply are thrilled to have him on our farm. His first cria here at Ideuma Creek have amazing fleece. He sired a bright, crimpy, uniform full Accoyo fawn girl, Accoyo Divinity, that we can't wait to show and our most recent addition to our herd, Peruvian Alexandra who has crimpy-beyond-belief fleece! PHA Accoyo Zagot is proudly co-owned with our good friends, Kevin & Martha Cady of Gentle Breeze Alpacas. His breeding fee is for a limited # of outside breedings.

Description

This little girl is named in Scottish in honor of her champion sire, Peruvian The Scotsman. Her name, Fion Geal, means white wine in Scottish. We call her Fiona for short. Her sire is our true black reserve color champion, Peruvian The Scotsman. He's got quite a show record with 10 ribbons to his name including 4 blues from some impressive shows. Fiona is also out of Tuaca, the very first female alpaca we purchased. She is now 16 years old and still continues to give us a healthy cria every year. We have owned Tuaca for 11 years now, and Fiona is the 11th cria that Tuaca has given us! Fiona comes from incredibly healthy stock, no health issues here! Just plenty of milk, high IgGs, easy breeding, and great motherly instincts! With her brown dam and her champion true black sire, Fiona is sure to have dark cria in her future. We have bred Fionna to our fawn full Accoyo color champion, PHA Accoyo Zagot for a summer 2010 cria. This breeding has reconfirmed by a second ultrasound. We have just reduced Fionna's price because the farm next door to us has come up for sale, and we'd love to be able to purchase it! We've put Fionna in a pacakge with Delilah, a true black girl bred to blue ribbon, full Peruvian Silver Bullet for just $6500. This includes breedbacks for both girls! Fionna is also in an unbelievable package of four girls, 3 of whom are bred, for just $9500! Fionna has great potential and put her in a package with one or more other bred females and you have a "can't lose" investment that will multiply this summer!
