SALE PENDING Gianna is a gorgeous, dense Peruvian import with beautiful soft fleece. Even at her older age, her fleece still exhibits nice crimp. Gianna is an excellent mom and has produced champion offspring including blue ribbon winners, color champions and most recently the winner of the 2010 AFCNA's fleece show's best brightness award - out of 350 fleeces. Her cria have ranged in color from light brown to true black to grey. She is a proven producer of excellent cria including reserve color champion, Peruvian Ivy, multiple blue ribbon winner, Peruvian Samantha and most recently color champion, Peruvian Roslyn. Gianna's price is a reflection of her age and certainly not her quality. She is top-notch and has proven time and time again, bred to many different males, that she can duplicate her fineness in her offspring. We chose to leave Gianna open this year. Her 2010 cria, a gorgeous solid true black male, was born in September. She was a bit thin so because of her age, we decided to keep her open until the spring. If you purchase her this winter, you can chose the herdsire yourself - and there are a lot to chose from! She has produced a fawn champion when bred to our 8X champion Accoyo Invasion. She has produced black and a grey blue ribbon winner when bred to our Reserve Color Champion The Scotsman. Other good choices include our fawn champion El Nino son, Accoyo Zagot and our newest herdsire, Accoyo Cuba, a fawn Express son whose micron count is 16!

CHAMPION Fawn Full Accoyo!

PHA Accoyo Zagot

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)Medium Fawn
AOA# 30911383DOB: 8/15/200717 yrs
Elite, rare & colored full Accoyo genetics comprise our newest herdsire, Accoyo Zagot, who has his first confirmed pregnancies. At his very first fleece show, Zagot earned a blue ribbon (out of 7) and a COLOR CHAMPIONSHIP in lights! He also just took a blue in halter at the NJ Alpaca Show. Elite - Zagot is a powerhouse of Accoyo genetics. He is a cross of 2 of the best Accoyo parents out there. His sire is the recently deceased El Nino, considered by many to be the best son of Caligula. El Nino was described by a prominent judge as "the perfect alpaca" and took the coveted title of All American Alpaca Futurity Herdsire of the Year in 05. Zagot's dam is Astillero, a 95 import who has clearly produced some of the best full Accoyos in this country - a full brother to Zagot, Francisco (4 time champion),Stratosphere (5 Blues), & Armando who stands stud at Hilltop Alpacas. Zagot's sire & dam have both had a tremendous influence on the national herd. We are anxious for Zagot to have such an influence on our own herd. Rare - Zagot's bloodlines are about as rare as they come. He is a medium fawn full Accoyo which is rare enough. He is the last in his maternal bloodline. His dam died when Zaggot was only 2 months old. His sire, El Nino, died just months ago. Zagot's heritage simply can't be duplicated. Zagot is 1 of only 4 fawn full Accoyos that El Nino produced. Color - There are a very, very small # of fawn full Accoyos out there to begin with. Zagot is a fawn out of 2 of the best white Accoyos available in this country. His sire has produced several dark brown & a true black cria & his dam has produced 2 cria from different sires that have thrown black cria. With Zagot's dark gums and nails, he has a darn good chance of producing dark cria himself. We quite simply are thrilled to have him on our farm. His first cria here at Ideuma Creek have amazing fleece. He sired a bright, crimpy, uniform full Accoyo fawn girl, Accoyo Divinity, that we can't wait to show and our most recent addition to our herd, Peruvian Alexandra who has crimpy-beyond-belief fleece! PHA Accoyo Zagot is proudly co-owned with our good friends, Kevin & Martha Cady of Gentle Breeze Alpacas. His breeding fee is for a limited # of outside breedings.

Description

The quality of white fleece on a brown alpaca - that's Ivy. She's got the softest, brightest crimpiest fleece you can imagine. Her dam, Peruvian Gianna, has a history for producing elite quality cria. Her son, Nautilus, a light rose grey, is a blue ribbon winner, and her daughter, Nayelle, has both blues and a reserve champion banner. Her two other daughters born here are Samantha - a multiple blue winner and Roslyn who also is a champion with the best brightness award! Ivy's sire, Alpha Antonio, is the product of two Jolimont Peruvian imports, one of them full Alianza. This makes Ivy's genetics very rare and very sought after in this country. Ivy not only has incredible fiber, she also has one of the sweetest fiber filled faces, that amazing head to toe coverage, a wedge shaped, fiber filled nose, a gorgeous topknot and straight-as-an-arrow conformation. Ivy's fleece took Reserve Color Champion at the New England Coastal Classic and a second at MAPACA. She really does have some gorgeous fleece! Ivy just delivered a beautifully fleeced - crimpy beyond belief - beige male. She has proven herself to be an excellent first time mom. IgG was excellent, she has plenty of milk, and is protective and attentive to her cria. We have bred Ivy to our Champion fawn El Nino son, Accoyo Zagot for a cria this coming summer. Zagot's first cria hit the ground this year, and we are impressed!
