Some would argue that no other alpaca in the country has had as much impact on the industry as PPPeruvian Royal Fawn. He is a full Accoyo male with a history of passing on his fine-fibered genetics to his 406 offspring. Consistent show winners and high sellers, his progeny boast 108 known champions and 329 blue ribbons in every solid color group. Hand selected by the late Dr. Jim Vickers, Royal Fawn is the only light fawn Accoyo ever exported from Don Julio Barreda’s herd. According to Julio Barreda, Royal Fawn ranked as one better than he had ever produced at Estancia Accoyo in Peru. PPPeruvian Royal Fawn was the 1999 and 2000 "Get-of-Sire" winner at the AOBA National Show, and record breaking highest selling male in alpaca history in October, 2005. He is the sire of Dom Lucilio, Double “O” Good’s legendary male known as the Herdsire of Champions with 73 known champion and nearly 200 blue ribbon offspring. Service Sire: Double Stuff's Accoyo Cuba Libre

Fawn Full Accoyo - 16.4 Micron!

Double Stuff's Accoyo Cuba Libre

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)Medium Fawn
AOA# 31212939DOB: 4/25/200816 yrs
Our herd is known for its exceptional fleece. So when we were choosing our newest herdsire, although we knew we wanted full Accoyo color, we were not willing to deviate from our high expectations for fineness, density, brightness, handle & crimp. When we found Cuba, we were impressed with everything about him, especially his 16.4 micron! The handle of his fleece is extraordinary, & to top it off, he is one of the darkest full Accoyos around. We were delighted when Rainy offered half ownership of him & jumped at the chance to get a part of this select, beautiful male. Cuba's genetics are rare & known for producing elite offspring. His sire, Accoyo Express, is 1 of only 5 offspring (and the only male) born to Accoyo Albus before he was exported to England where he continues to win get-of-sire. Express's cria have won more than 70 championships! Cuba's dam, MFI Accoyo Tequilla Sunrise is the product of Accoyo Suzana, a white import owned by Magical Farms & the recently deceased Accoyo icon, Leon. Cuba's maternal siblings include Cuervo Gold who stands stud at Magical Farms & La Viva Loca, the highest selling female at the 2007 Futurity. Cuba has been given ribbons by some of the most respected judges in the country including Amanda VandenBosch, Wade Gease, Charlene Friedman, Jude Anderson and Tim LaVan. He competed in difficult classes & placed above some big, well-known farms. His conformation & coverage are excellent & his fleece is amazing. We are counting on Cuba to produce elite quality cria that are up to our high standards for fineness & density. We also expect him to throw color - lots of dark color from this very, very dark full Accoyo boy who has an excellent chance of being able to produce black. We decided to match Accoyos! @Double Stuff Farms introductory breeding fee offer. So if you're willing to bring your girl to our farm for a little rendezvous, you can save big. He is here at Ideuma Creek from 6/15-3/15 each year.

Description

Included in our ABUNDANCE OF ACCOYOS SALE - we have to make room for our 2012 cria. This price is for a limited time only and is more than half off! For more information or to view a complete list of alpacas included in this sale, visit our website at www.icalpacas.com We are pleased to announce our partnership with Dean and Terry Lucas of Stone Ridge Alpacas on HDF Accoyo Reese. This girl comes from the top genetics of two imports right off The Accoyo Ranch. These aren't just any imports for sure. Reese's sire is the famous Royal Fawn and her dam, Aletha who was noted on import records for having good fleece and exceptional density, is the dam to the legendary medium fawn herd sire, NWA Accoyo GoldSmith. This means our girl Reese not only comes from some of the most respected proven genetics, it also means she can produce color. And she has! Reese has a gorgeous little medium fawn cria at her side right now, Accoyo Farrah. Farrah has consistent - without a doubt - medium fawn fleece. Like her dam, Farrah is correct, proud and has beautiful fleece! To bring out this color in Reese, we have bred her to multi-ribbon winner, medium fawn Accoyo Cuba Libre. Cuba has exceptional fleece - 16.4 micron, density + and beautiful crimp - all this AND gorgeous conformation and dark color! He's the best combination of density and fineness that we've ever seen in dark color in a full Accoyo. Reese & Cuba should make a spectacular cria in 2012. Reese is a proven dam with beautiful conformation, beautiful fleece and a beautiful disposition. She is herself "easy on the eyes" and her 2010 cria is much of the same. I love having alpacas like this stand in my pastures - proud, alert, conformationally sound and with beautiful coverage. This is an excellent price for an Accoyo of her quality and bred so well.
