Mother of Champions!
Gypsy
Alpaca, Huacaya, Bred (Female) | Light Brown
AOA #1424249 | DOB: 6/14/2004 (20 yrs)
Sire: Outback Jack
1424249<--ari-->White<--color-->Outback Jack is one of the best kept secrets in California!
He arrived in the USA courtesy of his dam, a pregnant import from Peru. Jack is pure Alianza Peruvian although at the time of his mother's importation the specific Alianza was not noted on import records.
His dam has been and still is a producer of top Champions. Take a look at Outback's brothers:
* NorthCoast Tupelo Gold
* NorthCoast Peruvian Attila
Both brothers are champions in their own right and demonstrate fully the quality of his maternal line. Their crias on the ground are a tribute to his quality as well as their own.

Description
Mother of Champions! Gypsy is a lithe, doe-eyed beauty, with solid conformation, solid maternal abilities(easy birther, lots of milk) and VERY nice fleece attributes, who throws outstanding cria. She has excellent staple length, good crimp, outstanding hand and softness to her fleece. One of our local hand-spinners stands in line to be first for her fleece at shearing time. And to top everything off, a very stylish head. Her 1/2 sister Cloud (maternal) was a 2 time champion/reserve champion.
Gypsy's sire, Outback Jack, arrived in utero on the very first Peruvian Import in 1993 via his dam Peruvian Sorrento(an Alianza import and one of NorthCoast Alpacas prized foundation females). Gypsy's dam JA Hermione is out of Peruvian Aladdin(Jampolsky Alpacas foundation impact herdsire) and PPPeruvian Unique (an Alianza/Warapina cross) making Gypsy 3/4 Alianza. The Alianza farms of Peru are well know for producing fineness.
Gypsy just delivered a dark fawn BEAUTIFUL female cria. Lovely crimp, bright fleece, incredible head.
She is out Derwydd Bueno's Akupana making her Bueno Grand-cria! WOW.. the possibilities! Akupana had a solid show career, but what is really exciting about this new herdsire is the indication he will retain FINENESS and throw that characteristic, along with his superb head, bone, moderate size, density, hand and color (his dam is a 4x Champion TB!)2007 AFD 19.1; 2008 AFD 22.1 - The cria will sell with her for an additional $8,000 until weaned and then she will go on the Derwydd show team.
Gypsy's first cria, Wine, is a stunning dark brown female cria out of Derwydd Inti-Sapa, who went on to win Color Champion and be a part of the Derwydd Inti Dream Team. Gypsy will be bred to El R Peruvian Luciano for a September 2009, strongly possible! Rose Grey cria. Hmm and Gypsy's dam Hermonie has delivered all female crias(3) todate and Gypsy has delieverd all females( 2)! Maybe a trend??
Gypsy sells with one additional breeding beyond this years' to any Derwydd Herdsire Oct 1 - Mar 31, free transportation in the Continental US. Free board until she is rebred and 90 days pregnant - our current planned breeding date is Oct 9th.
