Jimbobway

SuriHerdsire (Male)Dark Fawn
AOA# 816277DOB: 11/13/199925 yrs
We are sad to report that Jimbobway died Oct 12th from a heart attack. He would have been 17 years old in mid-November. Jimbobway is the product of 2Peruvian Joselo, his full Accoyo white, tightly penciled sire, and 4Peruvian Artemis, a rich maroon Suri with black points, great density and superior coverage. Jimbobway's fiber is very dense, slick, and fine with an exquisite soft hand and good structure. He has placed in every class he has entered, even in costume, obstacle and agility classes. With a friendly and easy-going disposition, his cria win the hearts of everyone interacting with them. Jimbobway's crias are super high luster dark fawns, high luster and dense whites and even 2 pintos, one which was a female out of a white dam who previously produced 5 white male crias when bred to other males. Jimbobway has consistently produced high luster, slick-fleeced suri crias even from fluffy dams with minimal luster and very little lock structure. Jimbobway's crias consistently win in the show ring, and he is becoming more recognized as a top herd sire on the East Coast. Many of his offspring have remained in our breeding program and are producing beautiful crias for us, as well as populating top suri farms across the country.

21 and still going strong!

3Peruvian Divine Duchess

SuriOpen (Female)White
AOA# 139224DOB: 1/1/1994
Duchess is a rare Antacalla female and has been one of our foundation females since we started in alpacas in 1995. She is an easy keeper who has been healthy and producing beautiful crias for us. For her age, she still has very high luster, narrow straight locks, and a very fine fleece even after being shorn more than 10 times! As a production dam, she has been excellent! Her first cria, Peruvian Brazzos out of 2P Juan, is a beautiful male that has been one of our foundation "luster" herd sires since 1999. Her last 4 crias out of Jimbobway have all been females: dark fawn/white pinto, solid white, and in 2006, Cameo, a solid dark fawn, and in 2007 a dark fawn/white pinto was born, WRSR Peruvian Mardi Gras, a multiple champion now owned by Andean Vista Suri Alpacas. Why ruin a good streak? We will breed her again to Jimbobway, anticipating another beautiful female. Duchess births easily, has plenty of milk, and is a great mother - not overly protective, allowing people to handle her crias. She is strong, healthy, and in wonderufl condition for her age. She has a wonderful personality and is very easy to handle. She is currently being held open until spring. Duchess comes with a complimentary breeding to a WRSR herd sire. Choose from our stud row of champions!

Service Sire: Montoyo's Antonio

1/2 Accoyo Dark Brown

Montoyo's Antonio

SuriHerdsire (Male)Dark Brown
AOA# 31217965DOB: 3/15/200816 yrs
Antonio carries some of the finest genetics in the country. He is 5/8 Accoyo with Cantano, Uribe, Montoyo/Ramilo lines. We first spotted him at the 2009 Futurity and knew he would be an incredible addition to our program. He has nice density, consistent wave-to-twist lock structure, exceptional coverage, fineness, and radiant luster. Antonio quickly proved us right. His first cria are thrilling their proud owners and when you see one you will have no doubts as to value of adding his genetics to your herd. The very first Antonio cria to arrive, Andean Vista's Shoshanna took first and Color Champion at the Buckeye last year. His light cria can even compete with any herdisre out there and his dark cria are to die for. He has thrown color from white, and even produced black out of brown. Antonio makes an excellent outcross for all the premier colored bloodlines in the country like MacGyver, Shavano and Mahogany Prince/Diamonte. Antonio's is not open to outside breedings, however we have some of his amazing offspring for sale and females that are bred to Antonio available for purchase as well.

Description

Undefeated Mardi Gras is out of 3P Divine Duchess, a super slick and high luster import from the Antacalla region of Peru and 1/2 Accoyo Dark Fawn Accoyo Joselo son, Jimbobway. Mardi Gras was entered in two level five shows and left with two Color Championships. Placing behind Mardi at these shows were the Futurity and National Champions. Mardi Gras' fleece exhibits high luster with a drapey, slick feel. Her narrow locks are perfectly uniform across her body, in both lock type and color and an elite 19.7 micron on her fleece. Her conformation is exquisite! She is very straight with a beautiful topline, strong, heavy bone, and beautiful proportions. She has everything you could want as a production dam, and it shows up in the quality of her cria. Her 2010 cria, So So Peruvian Taylor Made is the finest fleece cria we've seen and catches the eyes of all who see her with her curly top knot and beautiful presence. Right now our plan is to breed her to our Ramilo/Cantano cross, Antonio for a 2011 cria, but if you contact us before the breeding takes you can choose your breeding. Mardi is a consignment of our son & farm manager, and is only for sale on a short term basis as part of their moving sale. Don't miss out on this girl, she's definitely a winner.
