Bad Bad Leroy Brown

SuriHerdsire (Male)Dark Brown
AOA# 30956902DOB: 8/5/200717 yrs
As Brad Sprouse of Great Lakes Ranch noted shortly after Bad Bad's dam arrived for a breeding with a 3 week old Bad Bad at side, Leroy "is developing into a really nice little guy. I think he will make Belmonte proud." We also thought highly of this boy at a very young age and had him earmarked for our herdsire row ever since. We weren't very surprised when Bad Bad began his show career bringing home blue ribbons from his first two shows. Full Peruvian, half Accoyo and solid medium brown out of a Ninotchka daughter and 10-Time Champion Accoyo Belmonte, Leroy continued to prove he can hang in any class and ribboned in every single halter class he was entered in (12 times), including 2 Futurity Shows and 2 trips to the AOBA Nationals! It's that WOW kind of luster and fineness, the best attributes of both his sire and dam that had Leroy above the rest! With 121 crias registered to his 10-Time Champion sire Belmonte, Bad Bad is his darkest full Peruvian male on the ground. As his dam has produced 5 black offspring from 8 breedings, Leroy will make a very nice outcross for those deep colored MacGyver girls and he is quite the stud. With 7 of his daughters in our foundation, Leroy is available now to go to work on your farm.

Dam: SOLD! Blazing Son's Bella

True Black Cantano Lines

SOLD! Blazing Son's Bella

SuriOpen (Female)True Black
AOA# 30010641DOB: 7/22/200816 yrs
Bella is a beautiful true black out of two black parents, and her sire is 5-Time Black Champion, Cantano's Blazing Son. Cantano's Blazing Son was the winningest son of the late Cantano and one of the few males to ever beat MacGyver's Balboa. Bella exhibits some of the finest qualities of her sire, a striking suri head, ample density and substance and strong conformation. Jet black when young, she is now turning gray a bit across her fleece. This girl should produce black, grey and maroon with the right breeding. Bella was bred to our black champion herdsire out of Young Felipe/Rockstar lines, GLR Bacchus, and delivered a pretty black girl, Egypt. Thank you to Rick and Linda Krauser for your purchase of Bella!

Service Sire: GLR Blackout (Son of Shavano)

2011 BLACK NATIONAL COLOR CHAMPION

GLR Blackout (Son of Shavano)

SuriHerdsire (Male)Bay Black
AOA# 32138580DOB: 5/20/201014 yrs
GLR Blackout is a son of 2010 Herdsire of the Year, Shavano, and GLR Amelita, the dam of National Champion, GLR Kolaqua. Blackout at his very first show earned MAPACA Color Champion and Judge's Choice male. Judge's Choice to a black??? I know!!! He then earned a second place as the youngest in a class of 12 at the 2011 Futurity, placing right behind the Color Champion. On his one year birthday he was declared the 2011 Black National Color Champion!!! Blackout has that fine, super dense, consistent lock we admire from Shavano. He has striking presence, proportion, conformation, and a deep, colorful pedigree of Shavano, Condor, and Alita. Blackout's crias are maroon, bay black, true black, grey, grey appaloosa. All stunning! Michonne the best true black born on our farm. We will be breeding him for 2021 offspring at Hephzibah Farms, where he's already last year produced a mini-me for their next little herdsire. After that, he is available for purchase, partnership or lease.

Description

Lucy Lawless is a beautiful and gentle Bad Bad Leroy Brown cria. She carries black genetics from her dam and Accoyo genetics from her dark brown sire. Her pedigree of Torbio, Cantano, Belmonte, Royal Damasco, and Ninotchka is impressive. She has excellent lock structure, nice fineness and luster, ample density and very straight conformation. All around a sweet package! Lucy is a solid producing foundation girl just like her mama. Best of all she looks this good without carrying any MacGyver in her pedigree! Lucy had a brown male who joined our show circuit in 2016 named Moab, and her micron at 8 years was 24.0! Thank you and congratulations to Rick and Linda Krauser for your purchase of Lucy!
