We weren't very surprised when Bad Bad began his show career bringing home blue ribbons from his first two shows. Full Peruvian, half Accoyo and solid medium brown out of a Ninotchka daughter and 10-Time Champion Accoyo Belmonte, Leroy continued to prove he can hang in any class and ribboned in every single halter class he was entered in (12 times), including 2 Futurity Shows and 2 trips to the AOBA Nationals! It's that WOW kind of luster and fineness, the best attributes of both his sire and dam that had Leroy above the rest! With 121 crias registered to his 10-Time Champion sire Belmonte, Bad Bad is his darkest full Peruvian male on the ground. As his dam has produced 5 black offspring from 8 breedings, Leroy will make a very nice outcross for those deep colored MacGyver girls and he is quite the stud. Priscilla Jax is a daughter of Priscilla's dam, Ppperuvian Katya is a super fine-fleeced import from the Antacalla region of Peru with a micron measurment of 20.8 at the time of importation. Katya is also the dam of two prominent herdsires, Peruvian Maverick and Jax Rum Runner. Priscilla's sire, Paseo Rojo, is a deep reddish brown male, and another fine-fleeced import that tested at 20.4 microns at the time of import. Paseo Rojo also produced numerous notable progeny in a wide range of colors, and was a top producer for Alpaca Jack's program for many years. She is a proven producer of quality offspring with excellent lock structure, fine fleece, strong conformation and shimmering luster. Priscilla, with black and grey siblings, holds plenty of color ability, and has previously produced as dark as true black. GLR Blackout is a son of 2010 Herdsire of the Year, Shavano, and GLR Amelita, the dam of National Champion, GLR Kolaqua. Blackout at his very first show earned MAPACA Color Champion and Judge's Choice male. Judge's Choice to a black??? I know!!! He then earned a second place as the youngest in a class of 12 at the 2011 Futurity, placing right behind the Color Champion. On his one year birthday he was declared the 2011 Black National Color Champion!!! Blackout has that fine, super dense, consistent lock we admire from Shavano.
