Blackout at his very first show earned MAPACA Color Champion and Judge's Choice male. Judge's Choice to a black??? I know!!! He then earned a second place as the youngest in a class of 12 at the 2011 Futurity, placing right behind the Color Champion. Now on his one year birthday he is declared the 2011 Black National Color Champion!!! Blackout has that fine, super dense, consistent lock we admire from Shavano. He has striking presence, proportion, conformation, and a deep, colorful pedigree of Shavano, Condor, and Alita. GLR Blackout has no MacGyver genetics so he can be bred to any MacGyver daughters! Blackout's first crias are hitting the ground and we are super excited! All girls so far, maroon, bay black, true black, grey, grey appaloosa. All looking stunning! Best true black born on our farm.
