A 2010 RESERVE HERDSIRE OF THE YEAR

MacGyver's Armed & Dangerous

SuriHerdsire (Male)Light Brown
AOA# 1119893DOB: 6/12/200420 yrs
A 2010 RESERVE HERDSIRE OF THE YEAR - SIRE OF OUR 2010 NATIONAL JUDGES CHOICE BEST SURI FEMALE FUTURITY AND NATIONAL CHAMPION, PRODUCING FUTURITY AND NATIONAL CHAMPIONS! And the blue ribbons and Championships have continued with his offspring. As of the spring of 2010 with his first offspring hitting the show ring, within his first two years of production his progeny racked up 32 Color Champions and 17 Reserve Champions - including Futurity Color Champions and Reserve Champions and National Color Champion and National Reserve Champions, 75 1sts and 24 2nds - I'll stop there, plus 5 1sts in Get of Sire and several other individual Bred & Owned production class wins. MacGyver's Armed & Dangerous is all a suri breeder could ask for. Armed with tight penciled locks, density, excellent coverage and high luster; it is easy to see how MAC earned his name. A grandson of StudMaster Bruxo and the 2005 Light Herdsire of the Year, 2P Inca; son of 6 Time Herdsire of the Year, Peruvian MacGyver, this 1/2 Accoyo full Peruvian brown phenom is a product of the finest suri lineage in the country. He is an incredible 11-time champion, taking home 13 blue ribbons from the largest shows in the country, including wins at the 2006 Futurity and 2006 Nationals. With these genetics you just can't miss and MAC has the ribbons AND THE PROGENY to prove it! PREPOTENCY? You heard it. A multi-champion producing champion after champion. Color? Brown out of white dams, TRUE black out of white dams-1/2 the crias shown on this page came from white dams! We are seeing him add very good density, tons of luster, fineness and handle, as well as consistency of lock structure in his offspring. MAC can do it all. Partial interest in Armed & Dangerous is available.

Champion Baron Daughter

Leraso's Veuve Clicquot

SuriBred (Female)White
AOA# 846743DOB: 7/5/200321 yrs
Now here's a girl that's better than the rest...and knows it. Veuve Clicquot is a Champion daughter of the great Accoyo Baron, known as Herdsire Of The Century. This girl has perfect conformation, excellent lock, luster, density, coverage, substance of bone, and a gorgeous suri head. She is a champion who has produced so far 5 blue ribbon winning and champion girls for us in a row. This girl contributes so much to her offspring she produces a show stopper every time. Her first cria out of Fine Threads Jax, Colette, was a multiple blue ribbon winner and sold by one year of age. Her second cria, Material Girl, took a blue and finished at the top end of some very large classes at just 6 months old and was also sold by one year. Veuve then did it again, producing another gorgeous female: Foxxy Cleopatra took the blue at her first show in a class of 11, another blue at her next and went on to take the Grand Championship as a juvi! Veuve produced next another multiple Color Champion and Judge's Choice winner (including National Champion and National Best Suri Female) in Vanity Fair, again out of Armed and Dangerous. Veuve's crias are always big, healthy (and usually) girls; she has trouble free births and is an awesome mom. Solid foundation dams with genetics and consistent production like this don't come along every day. Veuve Clicquot is a female producing money-maker indeed. Veuve has quality production that is hard to match. She was then bred to PIVAL Blazen Son, 15-Time Champion 3/4 Accoyo and we are excited to show another beautiful girl, En Vogue in 2011-2012. She has already earned a Color Championship at her very first show. Veuve was reunited with Armed & Dangerous and this time has delivered a greasy, locked and lusterous beige male version we named Valentino who's also become a champion in the show ring.

Description

2010 NATIONAL COLOR CHAMPION AND NATIONAL JUDGES CHOICE BEST SURI FEMALE The judges resoundingly agree... Our Andean Vista's Vanity Fair is undisputedly the quitessential suri female! and now the best suri female in the country. Her sire is an 11-Time Champion, her mother is a Color Champion and her full sister a Color Champion too. This gorgeous girl is decorated in the purple too! Vanity earned her first Color Championship, as a juvi this past fall at the OABA Alpacafest. She has continued to captivate the judges this spring, taking a second Color Championship at the Indiana Alpaca Invitational, taking Best Bred & Owned Suri Female, and then going on to be awarded the highly coveted JUDGE'S CHOICE award. To top it off, she has now taken a blue and the esteemed Futurity Color Championship! She continued to take her 4th Championship at the Great Midwest Alpaca Festival and another Best Bred & Owned Yearling Female award. The judge said she has not seen an alpaca like this since she was in Peru years ago and they showed them what a suri SHOULD look like. A large girl, with capacity and sound conformation is where it starts, but Vanity Fair has that super shiny, dense, greasy and fine fleece we hope to see on every alpaca! Her pedigree of Inca, MacGyver, Torbio and Baron to name a few is impeccable. Her 1/2 accoyo 11-Time Champion sire MacGyver's Armed and Dangerous needs no introduction, and her dam, a 5/8 accoyo Champion Baron daughter, has yet to produce a cria that has retired without a blue ribbon and/or championship... not to mention Vanity Fair is Veuve Cliquot's fourth female in a row. Vanity Fair is beautiful, beautiful, beautiful! according to Amanda Vandenbosch and bound to do great things for any breeding program. She's about as close to the perfect alpaca as you can get! Vanity Fair comes with a breeding this spring to any of our champion and multi-champion herdsires, including 3/4 accoyo 15 Time Champion Pival Blazen Son or our 1/2 accoyo dark Brown Champion son of 10 Time Champion Belmonte, Bad Bad Leroy Brown. THANK YOU AND CONGRATULATIONS TO Mike and Janet Wilkins for their purchase of this absolutely stunning and exquisite girl to add to their foundation herd. Her crias are going to be the ones to watch!!!
