DAFI Xanadu Lady is 50% Peruvian (from the renowned Allianza Ranch owned by Don Julio Bareda) and 50% Chilean, crossed for hybrid vigor. We purchased this stylish female suri from Latah Creek Alpacas as part of our foundation herd for her gorgeous mahogany color, wonderful conformation, and dense, lustrous tight lock structure. She has already thrown several beautiful colored suris. We also purchased her Inca daughter at side, LCA Cindy, the darkest cria thrown to date from Inca. She is very healthy; was a great mom with lots of milk; birthed easily and is extremely protective! Amanda VandenBosch stated "Lady is a very strong female with good type for the suri; she is balanced and has good substance of bone and capacity; she is correct in her jaw alignment. She has good solidity to lock and density and length of re-growth". Her first cria for SDAF in 2009 is Grand Marnier & Chocolate, sired by Snowmass Grand Marnier, a fabulous herdsire who needs no introduction. He took a 1st at the 2012 Alpaca Showcase as an adult. Lady has given us two other beautiful crias. Lady Xanadu is being sold as a non-breeder; those fiber folks looking for color, here it is. And we think a herd of fiber females is a great idea for folks just starting out, because if later a decision is made to buy breeding stock, they can go right in with the fiber females and not need a separate pasture. We accept Visa/MC and AMEX. Flexible financing is available on packages of $2,500 or more for qualified buyers. And of course, there is that wonderful service and support after the sale. She is BVD negative and current on all immunizations and worming! Call today; and we will be happy to agist for you!

Description

Inquita is a stunning combination of two elite suris. Not only a legendary Accoyo Inca daughter, she carries color genetics from her dam DAFI Xanadu Lady, a beautiful dark brown female of grace and style. A true beauty to behold, Inquita's dense beige fiber glistens with luster even from a distance. Twisting locks flow from her head to the tip of her tail. Perfect conformation completes the package. This Inca daughter is building an awesome track record of stellar offspring. Her dark color genetics bred to dark brown Snowmass Grand Mariner produced an amazing dark brown, greasy, super shiny male we named Chesnimitz! Born in May 2008, he is everything that a herdsire should be. He took the '09 -'10 show ring by storm with 12X 1st Place, 2 Color Champion & 6X Reserve Color Champion. Her '09 fawn male Luxe, sired by Sierra Bonita's MacGyver's Mojo, was awesome. To our sorrow Luxe was put down after being severely injured from a kick. Inquita was bred to Derwydd Accoyo Ch'aska for a 2010 cria. Full Accoyo Ch'aska is amazing, and with Inquita's record of high end offspring, we were looking forward to seeing the results of this pairing. In Sept 2010 Kootenay was born. This fantastic 3/4 Accoyo male is a tone on tone white/fawn pinto that is a shiny wonder to behold! He will certainly be in our 2011 show lineup. In 2012 Inquita gave birth to a beautiful solid brown male out of champion producer Psylent Knight. We named him Donovan. Please check him out on our males page. We love what Inquita is able to produce and look forward to keeping her in our foundation herd. She is the only animal with an ear tag which she has retained since she was at Latah Creek.
