WHAT WE NEED TO BREED FOR IS FOUND IN THIS GUY! Dense and fine fiber (Royal and Baby Grade), with excellent staple length to his coat, best describes his fleece. He is a Full Alianza-Peruvian guy (Conchatanca- Alianza) out of HAA Camalot's Triumphant Son (color Champion and Get of Sire 1st Place Triple Crown 2006) and 6Peruvian Mistic of Lady Concha our Foundation Fiber Champion and Peruvian girl born during importation (now deceased). His presence, stature and proven genetic offspring make him a top herdsire. He has matured into the Macho of the herd. His 2007 Histogram showed a 19.7 Micron count- Royal(and we feed him well) WITH A 99% COMFORT FACTOR... YES 99%! His 2009 Histogram has his AFD at 20 (Baby)...he is keeping his fleece stats! His 2011 AFD is 21.9 (He is BROWN!)at 5 years old! Just what you are looking for in a herdsire! Augusto remains on our Stud Row because of his Tremendous Fleece (check out his Fleece Awards from Mary Reed and Jennifer Folkman!), his outstanding and superior Presence, his perfect conformantion and the fact that he passes them all along! We call him the FIXER...! If you are looking for Fineness with Structure and Length...Augusto is your man!

Description

Peruvian Lando has the phenotype that All Alpacas should possess! This Mamma's boy is Full Alianza on his Sire's side and Hemi-Accoyo on his Dam's side! He is extremely dense with a well defined structure and fineness to his blanket that perhaps the pictures can't quite catch...but we gave it a shot! He is straight on with a perfect bite and stride to his walk like he owns the place. We have bred and raised champions before and this guy is right in line. He is out of so much color and such a fine fleece that we may want to hold on to him....but I always think that... Clairabelle (his dam) was purchased from the Virginia Alpaca company (at the prestige auction) a ways back for her density and fleece structure! She is a large female with an excellent disposition and genetic trail! Augusto (his sire) just throws excellence! and Lando is no exception! check out Matayo as well...these two will lead the way!
