WHAT WE NEED TO BREED FOR IS FOUND IN THIS GUY! Dense and fine fiber (Royal and Baby Grade), with excellent staple length to his coat, best describes his fleece. He is a Full Alianza-Peruvian guy (Conchatanca- Alianza) out of HAA Camalot's Triumphant Son (color Champion and Get of Sire 1st Place Triple Crown 2006) and 6Peruvian Mistic of Lady Concha our Foundation Fiber Champion and Peruvian girl born during importation (now deceased). His presence, stature and proven genetic offspring make him a top herdsire. He has matured into the Macho of the herd. His 2007 Histogram showed a 19.7 Micron count- Royal(and we feed him well) WITH A 99% COMFORT FACTOR... YES 99%! His 2009 Histogram has his AFD at 20 (Baby)...he is keeping his fleece stats! His 2011 AFD is 21.9 (He is BROWN!)at 5 years old! Just what you are looking for in a herdsire! Augusto remains on our Stud Row because of his Tremendous Fleece (check out his Fleece Awards from Mary Reed and Jennifer Folkman!), his outstanding and superior Presence, his perfect conformantion and the fact that he passes them all along! We call him the FIXER...! If you are looking for Fineness with Structure and Length...Augusto is your man!

Description

Hidalgo is Fantastic...and his FIRST SHOW PROVES IT! This young male is out of our full Alianza Peruvian male who's first Cria (Maricruz) took a blue in her one and only show in Va before being sold to Faunus Fibers in Pa. Augusto still maintains an AFD of 21.9 at 6 years old as a breeding mature male (Large)! That is unheard of... Hidalgo's dam is our TB foundation Girl, ADC Peruvian Minx, who's female cria sold at the Breeder's Edge auction in 2011 for $12,000. They both produce outstanding cria and this matchup produced another winner! Hidalgo has a bundled characteristic and structure to his fleece that is soft and exceptionally dense (why he took a second in his class at a level 5 show). He is very consistent from head to toe with a great look that is the type of bubble head that we breed for. He comes from a line up (we own a few genetations on both sides of his ARI) that maintains their fineness (look at his Sire's stats) and passes them on. We love this line beacuse of the unique qenetics that it offers, long lasting fineness and shearing weight of blanket. This guy should throw color...if we can only put this blanket on a black animal ...watch out!
