NEWS FLASH: Unfortunately our beautiful George passed away in early February 2017 in Ga. He was the showpiece at our farm stamping out that beautiful head for multiple dark champions. He will be greatly missed as we now wait to see what his last crop of cria will bring to our farm in 2017. RIP MFI Peruvian Georgetown! Exceptional Fleece Characteristics, Superior Show Record and Rock Solid Genetics! Those phrases best describe this boy that Alma (along with partners) bought at the 2009 Futurity! What an impact this Full Peruvian True Black boy has made on all of our herds! Wonderful fineness, consistent crimp, impressive presence, and impeccable conformation.... not to mention he throws a beautiful head on all his cria to date! D. Andrew Merriwether, Ph.D. has this to say about him, "He is a 3/8 Accoyo, Full Peruvian, Multi-Color Champion Black, with rare genetics from some of the titans in the North American herd (Timoteo, Augsuto, Matador). He has abundant crimp. A very sharp looking male and a way to improve fleece quality while still breeding to a black." Wow what an endorsement of our gentle guy! He is easy to handle with an easy going personality. Having Black Mesquite, Quetzel, Timoteo, Accoyo Augusto, and 4P Matador on his ARI, demonstrates that he is the product of solid and proven genetic producers. He is stunning to look at... and adds that look to his offspring!

Description

Capone has a wonderful spot free deep TB coat that is non fading ! He is out of our top production TB Peruvian import- this is her last male offspring. His fleece is VERY VERY bright with a consistent moderate crimp style (exactly like Georgetown) throughout his coat! He is not a big guy like his sire. He (like his dam) is a much more manageable size and sports an extremely fine and consistent coat, which is what we were intending, with the phenotype of his sire. We retained his brother for our program (Castielle) with his exttreme fineness and are equally impressed with this guy's stats...We have some of the finest (DEEP SEEDED BLACKS) in the registry. We are nearly 10 years into the making of these traits. We love his head, disposition and fleece. He is Maturing nicely! His dam is our oldest and the matriarch on the farm. She is a TB peruvian import who has thrown champions and multiple Blue ribbon winning offspring. His Sire is the incomparable MFI Peruvian Georgetown. He is a multi champion TB male with a masculine phenotype that is wonderful to see in the field! He stands as if he owns the place and Capone is right behind him ! Sold...Headed South! thank you Greenfield Farms Alpacas he is going to wonderful new home!
