NEWS FLASH: Unfortunately our beautiful George passed away in early February 2017 in Ga. He was the showpiece at our farm stamping out that beautiful head for multiple dark champions. He will be greatly missed as we now wait to see what his last crop of cria will bring to our farm in 2017. RIP MFI Peruvian Georgetown! Exceptional Fleece Characteristics, Superior Show Record and Rock Solid Genetics! Those phrases best describe this boy that Alma (along with partners) bought at the 2009 Futurity! What an impact this Full Peruvian True Black boy has made on all of our herds! Wonderful fineness, consistent crimp, impressive presence, and impeccable conformation.... not to mention he throws a beautiful head on all his cria to date! D. Andrew Merriwether, Ph.D. has this to say about him, "He is a 3/8 Accoyo, Full Peruvian, Multi-Color Champion Black, with rare genetics from some of the titans in the North American herd (Timoteo, Augsuto, Matador). He has abundant crimp. A very sharp looking male and a way to improve fleece quality while still breeding to a black." Wow what an endorsement of our gentle guy! He is easy to handle with an easy going personality. Having Black Mesquite, Quetzel, Timoteo, Accoyo Augusto, and 4P Matador on his ARI, demonstrates that he is the product of solid and proven genetic producers. He is stunning to look at... and adds that look to his offspring!

Dam: LHA Cloe

Mapaca Blue ribbon winner

LHA Cloe

HuacayaBred (Female)True Black
AOA# 30440463DOB: 9/16/200519 yrs
Cloe is our Blue Ribbon winning, proven, attentive mom, that is an easy birther with plenty of milk. She is a True Black girl carrying the genetics of a True Champion- 5PSilverado-. She is out of Peruvian Aurora, who has also thrown grey. This combo leads us to believe that GREY is in her future. Brightness and Density combined with a finely fleeced crimp structure best describe her award winning coat. She has perfect conformation and a perfect bite. This True Black girl is a welcomed addition to any growing herd! Her full sister Sweet Misty Rose sold at the 2005 MAPACA Auction for $33,000 and is a productive girl for Candellight Farms in NJ. Cloe represents our stable of fine fleeced black Peruvian Huacayas quite well! This is a Proven Mom that needs little attention...we sold her first girl (Novella) at the Breeders Edge Auction in 2010. Her second cria (female)is on the farm (as of this update) so you can see what she produces! Sale Pending

Description

Bennedeto has the conformation and phenotype that we all are breeding for. Make sure you reveiw his Histogram and ARI to see what he can deliver. He has the short snout, excellent top knot (Georgetown trait), very fine and well defined fleece structure with wonderful bundles clustered throughout his blanket. His Sire is the incomparable MFI Peruvian Georgetown and his Dam is our foundation Black Girl Cloe... he is a deep seeded black boy (out of Two Blacks and not an "oreo" hiding in a black blanket) He made his show debut at MAPACA in 2012....cria fleece and all! He is a fantastic example of our program! He is simply beautiful! Honestly he looks fantastic in the field and is only getting better and better! A fantastic investment for your future program.
