Retired- Our Top Rated Foundation Girl producing the finest fleeced animals in our herd! She is now offered, along with other older females, as a companion and a pet as she is easy to handle and a joy to have. Meagan is a beautiful full Peruvian LF Producer of Champions (3 and counting). Her outstanding fleece is very fine and dense with beautiful character. Her histogram came back with an 18 AFD in 2009! Unbelievable! She is black skinned with black nails and deep color to her beautiful coat. She is fully covered by her distinctive fiber from her legs to her top knot. She has been a consistent producer of high quality offspring. She produced our 6 time banner winner Mercucio! We have sold EVERY male cria that we have marketed of hers. Ciaus (2012 male) has also been retained. With both parents being imports, she offers new genetics to most herds. Her cria have a very distinctive bundling that sets them apart! We would like to see her go to a small family farm looking for enjoyment in owning alpacas without the burden of breeding.

Description

Mercucio began the 2011 show season winning his 4th banner in Carolina and finished it by winning his 6th at VAOBA (all of level 5)! Between NC and VA, we stopped in SAFONA and he took a championship on his way to a breeding while on that side of the state...(giving him 6 banners) He is a full peruvian guy that has the density of a champion and the fineness to back it up. The architecture of his fleece demonstrates a high frequency with a strong amplitude "zipper crimp" from skin to tip! "His bundles are small and clustered like nothing we have seen before...just fantastic"- Tim Lavan. His top knot is the "helmet head" that is sought out. His short snout, great look and perfect conformation are in line with his Pedigree, Product (Fleece-Royal), and Promotion (6 Banners). His mother is our LF, ROYAL fleeced (19.1 Micron at 11 years old) foundation girl (out of 6Peruvian Camilo)7111 Peruvian Meagan. His Sire (Titan's Mercury Rising) is out of a Titan (Literally) in the Industry... 6Peruvian Accoyo Titan! Timoteo and Hemingway are also in his ARI...this boy is fabulous... check out his fiber stats! We Proudly co-own Mercucio with Carole and Joe Rost of Asgard-Acres Alpaca Farm LLC. Mercucio has produced CC in Brown, Black and Grey so far, as his career is far from over!
