Heaven's Hill Peruvian Augusto

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)Medium Brown
AOA# 20035402DOB: 6/26/200618 yrs
WHAT WE NEED TO BREED FOR IS FOUND IN THIS GUY! Dense and fine fiber (Royal and Baby Grade), with excellent staple length to his coat, best describes his fleece. He is a Full Alianza-Peruvian guy (Conchatanca- Alianza) out of HAA Camalot's Triumphant Son (color Champion and Get of Sire 1st Place Triple Crown 2006) and 6Peruvian Mistic of Lady Concha our Foundation Fiber Champion and Peruvian girl born during importation (now deceased). His presence, stature and proven genetic offspring make him a top herdsire. He has matured into the Macho of the herd. His 2007 Histogram showed a 19.7 Micron count- Royal(and we feed him well) WITH A 99% COMFORT FACTOR... YES 99%! His 2009 Histogram has his AFD at 20 (Baby)...he is keeping his fleece stats! His 2011 AFD is 21.9 (He is BROWN!)at 5 years old! Just what you are looking for in a herdsire! Augusto remains on our Stud Row because of his Tremendous Fleece (check out his Fleece Awards from Mary Reed and Jennifer Folkman!), his outstanding and superior Presence, his perfect conformantion and the fact that he passes them all along! We call him the FIXER...! If you are looking for Fineness with Structure and Length...Augusto is your man!

Dam: Heaven's Hill Aqualina

Fleece so soft!

Heaven's Hill Aqualina

HuacayaBred (Female)Beige, Medium Rose Grey
AOA# 30679030DOB: 8/17/200717 yrs
Our Personal favorite...Aqualina. Sale Pending What a combination of Champion Genetics... Patagonia's Ashleigh, her dam out of El Padre (Both now deceased), and Phalco's Peruvian Influence, Full Peruvian 1/2 Accoyo-sire out of Felix (now deceased). She is the first to be noticed on our farm because of her stand out markings (Paint) and her approachable demeanor. We took her to a large community fair (introducing Alpacas to the community) and we were amazed at how casual and approachable she was for her first time off of the farm. She has wonderful (Rose Grey) fiber characteristics that is very dense and very consistent structure throughout the blanket. She has complete coverage to her toes to her nose and, as mentioned above, a VERY gentle demeanor. She has a blue hue to her eyes as shown in her picture (not that we care). Because of her outstanding fiber characteristics she will be selectively bred to our Dark Program to bring those fiber characterisitcs forward. Her first cria out of our Champion Graphite was sold at 4 months old and she took a 2nd in her first level 5 show as a LRG...really nice cria! We have retained two of her offspring that are producing in our herd

Description

So let's start with his dam this time... Aqualina's first cria (Octavia) sold at 3 months old. In her first show-took a 2nd in level 5 show (Carolina)and her first year shearing produced a 17 AFD! His Sire- Augusto's first offspring (Maricruz) took a blue in her first and only show before she was sold as a Juvi! Her 1st shearing AFD was 18. Do you see anything in common here? Matayo has an outstanding fleece structure and is extremely dense! Yearling AFD 17.7! SD 3.8 >30- .7! Beautiful phenotype and a Gene Pool that features FELIX, and El Padre on his Dam's Side and our FULL ALIANZA of color heritage on his Sire's side! This boy has the presence of a champion and the Density and Fineness in his fleece that will build programs! We sheared him down to the skin...and length was a challenge in the spring...he is on tour again in the FALL. We are extremely proud of this guy!
