Royal Flush has headed east to Briar Run Alpacas in WV. Congrats to Rita and Ray on purchasing this elite boy. He will also stand at Highland alpacas this winter so check Briar Run's site for details. We have him bred to a couple of our very best dams in hopes for a boy to help replace his valuable genetics in a future herdsire. Our Royal Flush girls are cherished here and drumroll...his last cria here is a stunning dark rose grey boy...hope he grows up just like dad! RF's full brother just sold for $78,000! His progeny are winning big and commanding good prices (including one of the top sellers at Futurity). Genetically it appears that he is 100% Pure Alpaca with no DNA markers for Llama. Perhaps that explains his ability to throw vicuna fineness. His offspring are consistently in the 15 & 16 micron range. Breed him to grey; you get grey! Snowmass describes him and his full brother as "our 2 most influential fine fiber production studs". We feel so fortunate to have been able to obtain him; thank you Skinner family! We were looking for unique lineage and ultimate top quality. He is sire to Snowmass Silver Signature, (featured in Making of Champions II), whose breedings are sold out. Royal Flush was on Snowmass Alpacas Private Reserve herdsire list until he came to Texas. His production is phenomenal. Snowmass thinks so highly of this male that they reserved future breedings to him. Snowmass repeated the breeding of his sire and dam 3 times. Royal Bronze is full brother to Royal Flush "both these studs represent our finest producing line of Grey Black and Brown. Royal Flush is strong boned, has supreme fineness, amazing extension of character, great staple length, and bountiful luster...producing exactly what we are looking for in a colored alpaca. Vicuna fineness with added staple length and intense brightness.." - Snowmass Alpacas. Royal Flush's dam Peruvian Rosa Royal is as valuable in his genetics as his sire. She's thought to be PURE alpaca and at 7 years old had a histogram of 20.5, 3.7, 17.9, 1.9, the CV and % over 30 is what is so outstanding! His sire Andean Bronze is that exceptional dark colored alpaca whose fiber is like velvet. 2001 All-American Alpaca Futurity: 1st Place & Color Champion 2001 AOBA National Fleece Show: 1st Place 2002. Royal Flush has no spots, even distribution of color, and a black face. He can be bred to any color and has thrown beautiful blacks and browns.

5Peruvian Condori 8748

HuacayaOpen (Female)True Black

Condori was one of Snowmass Alpaca's top picks when they went to import in '97. Here is a quote from them: "one of the few remarkable Black Peruvian Imports,8748 5Peruvian Condori, who has the most gorgeous, dense and truly silky True Black fleeces of any Peruvian import we found and purchased." She is a rare full Peruvian True Black. She has fantastic coverage with curly crimpy black fleece and even at her age is still extremely soft and exhibits no primaries beyond the blaket. She is a good sized, solid framed girl. Her crimpy curls still extend all the way between her toes! Snowmass Alpacas describes her as being "AS SUPERIOR AS NOVA HIMSELF". What a compliment! She has consistently produced alpacas that can compete and win at top level competitions under top level judges. For a True Black to be able to produce a wide range of colors that can compete at the top level no matter the color is exceptional. Her first son Condonar won the 2000 Reserve Color Champion at the Futurity and later won Color Champion fleece at Nationals among many other ribbons. She has just had three daughters in a row and all have been gorgeous! Her last cria from Our herdsire Royal Flush is stunning. He is a full Peruvian true black and is ultra-fine and shimmering. She's bred to Porteus now for one of his very last crias so we are really anxious for this one!

Description

Condor represents some of the very best bloodlines. He is a full Peruvian true black whose sire is also 100% alpaca with no DNA markers for llama. Royal Flush and his full brother Royal Bronze are known as Snowmass' "most influential fine fiber production studs". Condor's dam was a top import for Snowmass in the 5th Peruvian import and has been described by Snowmass as being as important as Nova himself in production. Her sons hold top herdsire positions at excellent ranches across the US. Her daughters are known as the top producing females at the farms that own them. We feel like the dam is as important if not MORE important in the genetics of a herdsire. Condor himself is very athletically built like his sire and dam. He has a dense fleece with good organization and we believe he will hold his fineness well into maturity like his parents. He is very consistent both in his solid color and fleece style and conformationally very correct. We expect him to mature beautifully and like most of the Royal Flush cria, we expect him to really shine.
