We are thrilled to announce our new partnership with Pleasant Hill Alpacas & Canterbury Farms Alpacas on this incredible herd sire. Strat is one of the premiere fawn Accoyo herd sires in the country. In just 3 years of cria in the show ring, his offspring have over 35 championships & over 68 blue ribbons. When Genine, our partner from Canterbury Farms Alpacas, went to the 2010 Kentucky Classic, she couldn’t have been more proud; a Strat cria won the white color championship. A Strat cria won the black reserve color championship, & a Strat cria won the brown reserve color championship as well! It is no wonder Strat took 1st place, get-of-sire at that show & at the OABA Alpacafest as well! In addition to these 2 Get-of-Sires, Strat has 5 blue ribbons for his awesome conformation & beautiful fiber. He has never been beat by another full Accoyo in the show ring! Stratosphere is the product of 4Peruvian Accoyo Legacy, the highest selling alpaca of all time, & Accoyo Astillero, the dam of multiple blue ribbon & champion cria. He is 1 of only a handful of full Accoyos that Legacy has EVER produced, & is 1 of only 2 herd sire Medium Fawn Full Accoyo Legacy sons in the world! Stratosphere CONSISTANTLY improves the dam, at every level adding density, crimp, fineness & beautiful coverage & heads to his cria. In addition to quality, Strat adds COLOR as well. He is a rich medium fawn & has produced cria of all colors including black & grey. In fact, almost every black cria that he has produced has become a champion! Call about our Book-a-Breeding Incentives and our special breeding packages. Right now we’re featuring our “Make A Champion Cria” package featuring a breeding to Stat and an Accoyo Invasion breeding for $3500. The best way to make a champion cria is to breed to a male that consistently is producing champion cria. Visit Strat here in New York this summer! UPDATE - at MAPACA 2011 - Strat cria took blues in white, black, beige and brown - the reserve color championship in white and the color championship in black! To celebrate Strat's inaugural visit to NY, we are offering $1k off his breeding fee to the first ten who book breedings with him. That's $1500 for a breeding to Strat!

Accoyo Arcadia

We are so proud to have Arcadia here on our farm. Her potential is limitless. She's a young, beautiful, full Accoyo female with nothing but champions in her background. Arcadia's dam, Accoyo Estrella, is known for producing incredible offspring, including Accoyo Brutus (beige), a multiple blue ribbon winner and color champion. Acardia's sire, Accoyo Express, needs no introduction. He not only has several blue ribbons and a reserve color championship, his cria time and time again impress the judges in the showring. He is considered by many to be one of the top studs in the country. Arcadia has not only the genetics of champions, she has color (and lots of it) in those genetics too! Arcadia herself is white. Her dam has thrown both beige and light fawn cria, and her sire has thrown every color including black and grey. Her first cria has arrived, and we are thrilled - a consistent medium fawn blue ribbon girl named Accoyo Accolade out of Michaelangelo. Arcadia gave us a gorgeous fawn girl out of Stratosphere so we rebred her to him in 2013. In 2014 she delivered an amazing young male, one of the best we've made on our farm. She is open right now. We plan to breed her first thing in the spring of 2017. If you purchase her now you can decide the herd sire - Accoyo Stratosphere, Accoyo Invasion, Accoyo Cuba Libre, Accoyo Zagot - there are a lot of options for this girl!

Description

We really would like to keep half of this guy. We are looking for a partner who would show & promote him. He's got gorgeous high frequency crimp. He is very fine, and he has excellent staple length. He comes from exceptional lineage with Stratosphere as a sire and Arcadia, an Express daughter, as a dam. We are really quite smitten with him. Half ownership of this male would mean he would reside full time on your farm. We would only ask to take him back here for 3 or 4 weeks a year. We are trying to hang on to the best genetics we have here for when they are no longer available to us through the sire. We have a lot of faith in what this little guy will develop into based on how gorgeous he is right now. We would include a breeding to any of our herd sires with his purchase. We would also be willing to include him in a package with Yukon or another young male or female. Please contact me if you are at all interested.
