Description

GLR Macatta is a full Peruvian daughter of Platinum Marquis and GLL Macatawa, mother of SHAVANO, 2010 Dark Herdsire of the Year. PLatinum Marquis was the 2004 AAA Futurity Reserve Grey Male Color Champion and the 2004 MAPACA Grey Color Champion. Not only is Macatta's dam, GLL Macatawa the mother of SHAVANO, 2006 AAA Futurity Black Color Champion, 2006 Reserve Black Color Champion and 2010 AAA Dark Herdsire of the Year, but also the dam of three classic grey daughters, GLR Chasca (2008 MAPACA Grey Female Color Champion), GLR Luna and Silvana. GLR Macatta has a classic little suri head on a compact and correct frame. Her dark mahogany fleece is dense, lustrous and covers her from head to toe. Macatta had a beautiful cria (Meesha) in the Spring of 2014 that is listed in our herd. Meesha is a spitting image of her mother.
